Updated Heroic Resist and T8 templeveeshan.

T8 ToV NPC spells -resist checks:

NPC AoE from -1500 down to -1100
NPC DD from -4000 down to -3000

This was easier and faster to do than nerfing the Heroic Resist from the Ultimate Weapons, and then adding them to every tier of armor. I don't think I'm going to add Heroic Resist to any tier of armor. Its going to be a reward that you can farm from other side quest of ranked items.

ToV is still the wake up call on players Heroic Resist, to have basic resist levels, but figured I'd lower then to be less brutal for now.

Higher tier zones will require more and more Heroic Resist to survive the npc spells, so don't slack on that.

There are variety of ways to get Heroic Resist besides doing the Ultimate Weapon:

Ring of the Ages
Earring of the Ages
Shield of the Ages
Mana Necklace
Ultimate Charms
Heroic Resist Stones

Its all about choices. With a bit of farming of variety of ranked items other than UW, should be able to get resist high enough to completly resist almost all npc spells.

A +900 Heroic Resist to UW IX is still nice reward for anyone that puts in time for their UW, and if anyone is hardcore enough to farm an UW, I would expect most of them just to be their main tank, which would help with bosses single target spells.

How do you plan to address higher tiered zones needing (if they will) higher heroic resists, assuming it will get to the point where you are having X resist stones in every available aug slots?  Or higher.

Did you also lower the resist requirements for T7 from 1600 to 1100?

Clarification*  Not asking you to do this, just asking if you did.
