Title: Top Player Broadcast Post by: multilateral on April 27, 2014, 06:30:09 pm Since we have leaderboards, maybe a composite could be calculated every reboot to determine the topmost player which then gives that player a special broadcast every time they log on, much like Fugitive's honorary troll broadcast. Not sure if it would work here since we have a relatively small player base, but on other games, such broadcasts created additional competition at the top.
For example: "Norrath's greatest <class>, <player>, has just logged in!" I play for me now, and the people I feel like helping. If I want to measure myself against other players now I do it by height, or by the amount of time I spend with my family, or by where I go for vacation.
