As you can see above, we have this nice new dynamic image banner, but NO EZ logo!

I know there was a fancy landing page back in the day with an EZ Server Logo, but all of that got hairy and I'm not even going to try using it again even though it was pretty neat.

Criteria: There is no strict criteria, make it simple, make it pop, make it feel like EZ. I'm interested to see what you all come up with. Do make sure it is a logo and not a banner, needs a transparent background. Create it in high enough resolution that it can be sized down and used for many different things if need be.

Forums get their share of all the team's hard work, looking nicer and nicer :)

I really liked the idea of keeping Hunter's memory alive through the life of the server.

(Someone hinted at the possibility of adding a NPC, i liked the idea, and still like it.)

Why not start with the logo ?

More a sketch to show the idea than a high rez result atm

If someone more skilled in this kind of things want to draw it, recompose it in a more accurate way, or even go further with the idea ... feel free to go, pm me if you want some info (typo names, etc ...)

Anyone got a screenshot of Hunters character?

Might do something, but I would surely need that.

Just a couple more variations on the same theme

Though I think Hunter should definitely be honored and respected because obviously this has been his sandbox forever, I don't think stuffing his name in the logo really makes a whole lot of sense.

Anyone who knows Hunter will know that this was his server for the longest time. Those who are new to the server will have no idea what 'Hunter's' means from strictly a logo.

I still plan on putting an NPC in game that will represent him in the Nexus. That way he will always 'feel 'like he is with us in 'body' (NPC) and spirit. This would allow us to express his personality and presence.

Please keep the logo simple to 'EZ Server', no crazy acronym extensions.

I don't think jpg supports transparent backgrounds... needs to be gif or png I am pretty sure.. (not sure what other types support transparency)

Not as good at this as I used to be, but here is the idea I had... probably 2 busy to use as a logo... but if you want the full size version for a banner or whatever let me know.  All my attempts at having Hate wield a wrench instead of a staff were fail... and no good images of a troll crawling out from under a bridge for Fugi :)

I thought I would participate in making a logo, but it looks more like fan art. I'll likely color it but I have to figure out what will load in dark enough when I scan it to my computer. :)

There have been many good entries, and as I anticipated it wouldn't be easy to judge them.

Since I'm back from traveling and no longer getting plastered every night, I have now had time to go through the entries and judge the winner of this contest.
