Ladies/gents/trolls, Plane of Dragons (postorms) will no longer crawl/mass-disconnect on repop. Repop time has gone from ~30-90 seconds to ~5 seconds. Tikis are 5 seconds (max) repop after the summoned boss is killed. Chests and Ornate Chests are just *slightly* higher than before. Post by: ZerarWarrior on May 18, 2014, 12:25:09 pm made a new instance of PoD (Fresh GI "Guild instance (4902) for postorms" to be exact) and I was killing some bosses for essences. I handed in a crystal to earth and he spawned Kronos. Which is great... but it was just one... not three. Not sure if the change to the encounter was intentional or a byproduct of code changes. Just letting you know.

I logged a character into raid and it kept disconnecting moved him to my guild instance and was stable for a while, now im getting rolling disconnects in guild too.

I don't mind helping if you shoot me a PM :p Noted. If things become FUBAR, I will likely do just that. This was due to a foolish misunderstanding of my conditional check on the depop signal. I've re-written it to utilize a depop instead of disable_spawn2. ~200-300 trash kills and ~75 boss kills in instanced Plane of Dragons with Krincle saw zero errors, zero issues with tiki repopping, and no log-worthy errors. -Hate Title: Re: Plane of Dragons Optimized! Couldn't crash anything for the life of me. Noticed a couple mechanics changes: Each boss spawning a cornucopia of different types of trash adds. I'm assuming thats a cosmetic change that was intended. Thur's buddy Magmi does *not* respawn if killed before Thur dies. Kronos fake Kronos pals also do not respawn if killed before Kronos dies. Pretty sure that's unintended. Couple bosses landed Packmasters Curse on my warrior who has over 2100 resist. The second boss i spawned in T2 caused a really brutal lag spike that lasted a good 30ish seconds. Could have been a total fluke. My connection isnt the worlds greatest (Century Link), but i only had one toon online at the time so it was pretty out of the ordinary. Nothing else really of note, sorry i wasn't more help =/ |
