EZ Server

I wanna come back to play. But I almost forget how to install this game. Where could I get download link. Could anyone give me some suggestions or steps. Thanks :)

How long has it been if you do not mind me asking? So many changes over the last year, it is amazing. Ultimate Charms as an example are much more readily available through a more streamlined farming process... Anyway welcome back.

I doubt you would need someone to show you how in Chinese... just unzip and play.

Really? But I click "eqgam.exe". it shows "Please run Everquest.exe" Where could I find this file in my download doc ?

Ok, before we start, some tech junk! There are a few things you need to know:
NO PATCHERS!! NO WEBLOADERS!! IF YOU HAVE SOME FORM OF LOADER FROM THE EMU SITE OR P99 USE IT FOR OTHER GAMES, NOT EZ! EVER!! DO NOT EVER PATCH THE EZ CLIENT. While there is now a beta patcher (STRESS: NOT NOT NOT THE P99 PATCHER) that claims to work properly with the EZ Server many (myself included) have had issues with it ranging from odd MQ2 glitches to it not properly repatching files after you change servers. Bottom line....best method is to still to run the client directly using the shortcut method outlined on the EMU wiki: create a shortcut on the desktop to the eqgame.exe, and in the target line add "patchme" without the quotes at the end of the target line.....so if your target is C:\everquest\eqgame.exe, it would be C:\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme. Then go to the eqhost.txt file, and make sure after login it has this line: Host=login.eqemulator.net:5999.

I really would like to know why we stopped using the Launcher here as I had worked on it.

If there was a problem with it, it can't be fixed without the issue making its way to the creators.

the files would never update right...and would always install the p99 files into the ez folder so that you got alot of cross files that would cause it to crash and be unable to load...mainly b/c p99 and ez uses two differnt client versions

Finally, I knew what the real problem was. I download a file "eqemulauncher_v180.zip" from Eqemulator web. The problem was solved. Thx all you guys. Thx for your help.

There was an older launcher that had some issues that I think people are getting confused with. I will be following up with a newer one.
