T5 Daily Dungeon Live & Summoner's Bag FINALLY Live!

The Abyss (T5) daily dungeon is now accepting genocidal applicants. Those applying should possess a strong aptitude for hurting sea-dwelling creatures, humanoids, and plant life.

Benefits include: Higher essence/weapon drop rates, charm prism drops, buzzing berries, and a 401k.

Apply now in person with our Miner representative in Nexus, Caster's Guild, Fighter's Guild, and Stone Hive.



The Summoner's Bag has finally been completed. I have tested it briefly, but I have not run it through numerous times. It starts in the Caster's Guild with everyone's favorite gnome. It's intended to be an end game reward and will appropriately reward a pet owner for their time.



EDIT: First wave of Ultimate Augments are located on Hive Queen in Stone Hive.
EDIT: T9 crafting component made 25-50% more common (new instance or reboot).
EDIT: The tiered dungeons will be DAILY dungeons. That includes this one.
EDIT: Tsukasa (in Nexus) will now given armor for ONE armor card, down from four.  ;)

FG seems like the zone? was populated with mobs and named, oh tip of the day dont repop the instance, you will jack yourself up.

ok, killed 1st mob to right on ZI, got the green text for completing the task, got 5 berries and a debug 101101 or something, all characters disappeared into their own instance and could not loot name. I could highlight another toon and try to follow but could not cast boots to get out etc...

I then got disconnected from server on all toons and when I logged back in I was at bind up in the air, glad I had lev on :). Hailed miner to get back in and could not, only got the confirmation that I was already in an expedition.

Was ported to FG. All mobs but named were humanoids. Cleared zone, got some T5 loots and some charm things.

Trashed new abyss zone and after killing final boss (and getting green text) all my toons went LD and instance crashed...started toons back up and were backup under the world in Nexus.

Will this zone have some way to account for the 100 kill list as well ... dose will it have a 5.0 book drop.. or even a 4.5 book?

I'm 3/4 of the way through T5 ...and I finding the last 8 kill are just horrible trying to spawn them … then after that, the thought of killing all the corals x 11 for the 4.5 book so all my other toons can get their T6 flag.

OMG I hate T5!

if you are killing t5 for the first time you should EASILY be able to get your 4.5's done before you finish the 100 kill quest.

White CAN spawn in the T5 minidungeon. The 5.0 book comes only from all 100 kills. This still holds true, but now you have an alternative for getting bosses.

Just a quick suggestion here Hate, what about making the lock out 23 hours? I ask because for some people (like myself) playtime Windows are small. I can play from about 8-11pm. If I do the expedition at 8, finish at 8:30, repeat next day at 8:30, after a couple days I will have to skip a day cuz I can't start it at 11+. Alternatively, people with unlimited play Windows are not benefitting extensively from that extra hour. After 23 days of completing them exactly 23 hours later, they've gotten 1 more go thru than normal.

Not to jump you Anuli, but that is the entire reason FOR the dungeon. Chance at bonuses without the time sink, once per day. It's possible to clear the dungeon in a matter of moments and potentially get 5 boss kill credits. :-)

I agree with Anuli - it would be great if the expeditions had a 20-23hr lock out timer. I have about 45minutes of play time before work and it would be awesome if I could devote that to the expeditions during that same time frame every day. I know that WoW (OH GOD WOW) resets dailies at a certain time early in the morning every day so if you do the dailies at 10pm or 10am you're still able to do them at 10am the following day when you have time to play. I think you misunderstood what Anuli was saying hate, he is not criticizing the idea of daily dungeons, but asking for the timers to be more accommodating to people's schedules so they can really serve the purpose you have for them.

23 hour lockout so that you can play at 8pm every single day - 24 hour would mean you could play at 8pm Monday, then 9:00 Tuesday, 10:00 Wednesday, etc... since it takes an hour to clear the dungeon (or however long it takes) and eventually you have to skip a day once that time difference grows too large... unless this time resets with server reset, in which case the point is moot.

I like the changes. I've been super confused for a lot of them, but I enjoyed the crawl :) Well done Hate.

I don't think you understand what I was getting at. The point of adding the dungeons is TO accommodate people with limited play time. I'm not keen on immediately accommodating those that are inconvenienced by a less efficient accommodation. :-)

Okay but people with limited play time that are only able to play 8am-9am every single day wont be able to do the daily dungeons consecutively because the lockout timer is 24hours; therefore, it is the current system that is inefficient. Like I said, it really is not a huge issue but seems like a logical thing to address.

Right, I like the idea of it being once per day, its great! And no, making it a 23 hour lock out doesn't punish ppl who have unlimited play time lol.
Like Darpey said, if its 24 hours, and I start it when i get home at 8 monday, then finish it in 30 minutes, I can start 8:30 tuesday, then 9 wednesday, then 9:30 thursday, then on sunday i cant do it that day cuz id have to start at 11. with a 23 hour lockout, I can start at 8 monday, finish in 30 minutes, then when i get home tuesday, i can start again at 8 (technically 7:30 but the point is i wont be doing it until 8 anyway).

I definitely wasn't suggesting less than a days lockout. I thought 23 hours was a good time frame because that extra hour allows someone with an inflexible schedule to do the dungeon at the same time every day, but still only once per day.

Got to try the new T5 dungeon last night, liking it.  I absolutely hated T5 so I'm glad there is something to help speed the back flagging.

I would love to see the timer be shorter as well, even if it is 23hrs as others have suggested so you aren't pushed back to doing it later and later each date.

Can't wait to get my hands on the summoner's bag, but hoping to finish off back flagging first now.

Did my first run in the t5...fun ..short and sweet with excellent essence drop rate...


this will make back-farming essence so much nicer....not all at once .. but if you do your "daily" you should never want for the low tier essence.... good stuff!

IF i was smart I would log in 1 toon farm 5 or 10 sls...then run out and do the t5 dungeon
then log on a couple more toons and do the t2-4 dungeon...

then log on the rest of my boxes and do whatever relevant content I wanted...

That T5 dungeon was easier than the T2-T4 dungeon. The last boss in t2-t4 seems a bit OP with the charm even at 3600 resists Im getting hit some times w/it.

The T5 mini isn't anything special as kill credits would be far too work to create a system to randomly complete kills. T5 is kind of going to be the "odd man out" in our mini dungeons.

just a thought, but would it be possible to implement another clickie for Stonehive or possibly an alt line quest for changing your gate boots from nexus to Stonehive?  When you complete the Abyss mini dungeon you don't get credits from hailing the miner in nexus ONLY from miner in Stonehive....since you have to click boots to get out of Abyss, at en of expedition...unless would be easier to make hailing gnome miner in both Nexus and Stonehive.

I like the drop rate..it feels worth doing...i don't want to do it more than once a day....  if someone wants to play 13hours strait or log on 12 hours apart to do the thing well...good for them....should not make it unbalancing for the rest of us.

Agreed.  Even though I'm currently backflagging some characters through T5, I think more than once a day may be a bit too much, a 12hr lock out would allow flexibility for sure and essentially make it that in a normal scenario, it's only done once per day.

I'll likely have to skip it on Saturday because my window has gotten pushed back too far for it to be practical for me.

A lot of these posts are suggesting for reduced timers to allow players to complete the high essence drop rate dungeons more than once per day which is completely unnecessary; however, Anuli is consistently suggesting methods by which players with little play time may complete dungeons once per day the same time every day.

Not sure how reducing the lockout timer would allow someone to increase essence farming.  All you have to do for that is repop the instance and not leave it.  Works in both. The lockout timer puts a constraint on the amount of berries you can amass in a given time period.

That being said, I am all for a change that lets me roflstomp each of these for berries at the same time everyday.  Instead of each timer being pushed back ever so slowely until I may need to skip a day due to work and what not.

EDIT:  Just died again to the Pusbelly charm/hitmyselfinthefacecombo at 4k resists.  Tried repop since rocks are all back up if you try to zone back in, and it no longer works.  Good and bad I guess?

That's odd about pusbelly. I've killed him twice with zero issue. Last time was 4 days ago though. I'll try again today and see what happens.

Ive killed Pusbelly 3 times now, over the last 3 days, never charmed me and had zero issues taking him down. FWIW

I killed Pusbelly in one combat round and all he did was die instantly and the only 'adds' i was able to engage and kill were the handmaidens that he voice triggered'

Okay just recreated it. I basically was killing it too fast for the adds to come so i hit it a lil bit would do the script. Got charmed at one point and then the putrid blah blah script. Going on 10 mins now he's invuln.
