Hey! Back after a few years off. So I noticed bards singing is no longer modified by the epics. DS hits the same with or without 3.0 or 3.5 equipped. Is this intentional?

Dunno if it affected this, but I do believe they removed pretty  much all mod's for bard songs because it was causing some crazy high resists etc?

Honestly is there even a mod diff from the 3.0 to 3.5 didn't think there was one in the first place.

The fact that when I left the server a few years back the DS from the 3.0 was over 1k damage. Now with 4.0 the DS is 430... I pulled the weapon and just sang without a thing equipped and it was still 430. /hmm. I don't see any instrument mods on the weapons at all actually.

Thats easy to answer. Hate fixed bard epics. An error was causing some ungodly returns from epic mod on songs....and he fixed it. Lots of gnashing of teeth and bitching ensued, but it stands. No more 1500 hp song DS, no more extra 9K armor from Stampede 2. Numbers now make more sense, tbh.

If you're after a super DS, its the Mage Show.....but regardless unless you're mass pull PLing a damage shield isnt worth all that much on EZ. Mobs hit too slow (once every 3 to 4 seconds).

Read the wiki, lots has changed, from the old days.  The wheel isn't square anymore...it is round and works ALOT better!
