What the hell is up with these?

I have not seen a drop in 4 months...

I am currently farming up a uw for another toon from scratch and am almost done with 5/6 and still no GSOA.....that's like a thousand tokens so far farmed and turned in...nothing...postorms 100/100 ..nothing....

RNG i get but this is stupid rare....like stupid..

How are we ever expected to get this done with a drop rate of 2 a year if we are lucky?

Same way the dozen or so (maybe 2 dozen now) 50 rank on the server were done.....slowly, with a lot of time and effort.

I could tell you how about half those dozen or so got theirs too, but that would just spoil the surprise.

the surprise is the people that have the 50s now bought them when the first came out in mass and where cheap and common...

In what zone do the GSOA have the most common drop rate

i have only see 3 drop from when they went live to now

1 ~ HoH
1 ~ abyss
1 ~ Anguish

I have gotten 4 since i returned 4-6 weeks ago.

I think 3 in anguish 1 in loping

Dropped most of mine in storms (T2)
Have has a couple in HoH and Airplane, none from anguish

Drop rate does seem a bit less than they have been, or just bad RNG
Although I have 10 atm, but dropped most of those on Last DL
T2 is never ending on DL lol, rotting essences cause I got fed up of looting em

Picked up 3 in the last 2 weeks....2 in PoDrags and 1 in T9. Yeah, its rare, but it isnt impossible. And with the difference the earring makes I think it needs to be hard to get. In fact I think a few of the other items in game (UW for example) could use some of the earring's difficulty/rarity.

i have 20K AA on my Necro ... i haven't really spent any of his AAs

should i sink this 20K into RoA or EoA?

Earring of the Ages (http://ezserverwiki.com/Earring_of_the_Ages) is really not that good until MUCH later - 20k AA's (level 1) would be awful - but it would improve your Ring of Ages (http://ezserverwiki.com/Ring_of_the_Ages) significantly

earring does not boost damage until 11th level

should be a world maximum count (not my idea just blatantly using it here) on gsoa.    Similar to bitcoin, there are only X amount of gsoa period.   Once that count is reached, no more gsoa!

While Balidet is accurate in his assessment of most of Peign's posts, something like this idea isn't terrible, although it should be some brand new thing, maybe rarely drop for a limited time only, something like that.

It quenches the need of the Almighty's to prove they are better than the rest of us by having a shinier widget, it just can't be so game breaking that it becomes a requirement or impossible to tune future content.

anyone is capable of achieving anything here.   Time and luck.   That is all.     Sorry that I got mine a long long time ago and you just now realize its value.
