T10 Progress Thread

Ladies/Gents/Trolls,

I'm posting this to let you know that I am still alive and that I'm a slacker. I've been busy transitioning to new job and it's consumed ALL of my focus. As a result, I've been a pretty !#@$!@^ Content Dev (moreso than usual). I'm posting this to give you an idea of what's going on, when, and where. The list below will grow as I remember things and will be ordered in priority too (as it's just "lolhereitis" right now).

T10 TODO:

• Finish third base camp.  DONE 4/15/15
• Fix and Add-to Existing NPC Spell Books DONE 4/22/15
• Set the elemental resists/immunities/weaknesses.
• Set up skirmish camps (all of them...). DONE 4/29/15
• Create the numerous bosses, some of which are spawned in such ways that the devil himself is aroused. WIP
• Script the camp-involving fights/events. WIP
• Script a few dozen (very mean) ambushes. DONE 4/29/15
• Kill Kenny McCormick.
• Make sure factions are more well-paced this time.
• Ensure that at least a dozen hidden quests.
• Scale up to ensure it sucks for everyone breaking in. ;)

Today: I was able to get the third base camp about 30% complete. It's still too empty and too generic for my tastes, so I'm "sprucing" it up.

OMG the 3rd base camp is too hard and I can't pull it without dying horribly!!  The quests are too well hidden and I can't get my uber Oracle thing-a-majiggy!!  I have resurrected Kenny twice and he keeps on dying to the swarms of adds!!

looks good...dont worry about us I would rather see a well thought out zone 2 months from now than a sorta kinda ok one today...

Sorry for the delay. I hit a roadblock that Akkadius helped me work through. I'll be converting some of the shinies I've added to a different type of shiny so the client won't QQ about it. I'll be working on it almost all day tomorrow. :-)

I know your a busy man with a lot on your plate, not looking for a deadline, just a guesstimate.

Love that zone.....it was a fun zone to play in.

For those of us with reading comprehension issues (if already posted) or don't recognize the zone, what is it?

Updated original post. Third base camp done, did basic testing in Qeynos Hills and ecommons with the help of numerous players.

Got my list of player spells to create. Will do that tonight/tomorrow and then update the NPC spellbooks as well.

I heard a rumor that he has had so much fun working on t10 that he is going to skip it and just start on t11....release date TBD
