So I'm still gearing up my 2011 squad for breaking into T5.  I have a 4.0 Paladin with UC, and a Warrior with dual 4.0 but no UC.  I plan on doing the War's UC next, but am unclear on who i should use to MT. 

Is everyone using a warrior, or is there some variation in group/raid builds?

Have not heard of anyone using a Paly tank T5+. There are a few running SKs T5+

Do you have any halloween familars?

Some use SK's to tank t5+ most use warriors.

I would farm some SLS's and buy a few 4.5 books, those would turn your 4.0 weapons into 4.5 augments and increase your overall dps a bit.

I'd also MT with the warrior.

Okay I'll plan to move my Warrior to MT role.  Thanks for the input.

I'm also not clear on what you mean by using SLS to get 4.5s.  I'm not seeing this info on the wiki.  Can you expand on that, please?

Some people will sell book drops for SLS.

And yes, pally CAN tank....but nowhere near as well as an SK, let alone a warrior. Warrior is still the best suited class to tank on EZ. SK can do it, but it takes a lot more effort, luck and rezzes....and I dont think I'd want to try to tank with my pally, even with 9.0 defensive aug, maxed SoA and IG  pet.

If I were you this is what I would do.

Farm 6-10 SLS (10 greater lightstones in magic box = 1 SLS)

they are easily farmed and needed for everything.

I'd try to trade them to someone to farm you 4.5 books. I would guess people would do it for you for 2 SLS, if i am bored I'd do it for 2-3 SLS per book. Dinadas in game

The weapon skins tend to have more white damage then their epic equals so converting from old weapons to new skins + augs is free damage.

I would do the t5 daily mini dungeon after getting the t5 task.  T5 mini is offered by miner. It  Offers 3-5 random bosses a day and will help start gearing out your group to do faster real clears.  Might also be useful to do the t2-t4 daily as well for weapon skins, charm upgrades, etc

After the daily I would go farm in ToFS for charm upgrades and resists in general, since you are probably lacking in that department as well. (Based on the 2011 comment)

My daily routine for awhile would be
Farm t5 daily.
Farm charms/resists in tofs

a couple of weeks of that and will be ready for full t5 clears i'd imagine, especially if you can grab some 4.5 books.

T5 seems to be around 2k-2.5k white damage per weapon.
