I don't know what is causing this but on 3 separate occasions on two different characters I've had bags and all the contents simply disappear from my inventory. I've noticed each time it happened when I switch a weapon with the bandoleer and the item being switched is gone as well as the bag it was previously in. I'm running SoD, I don't know if its related to that, I never had this happen when I used titanium. I no longer have titanium so I can't switch back to it.

Has anyone else had this problem?

The bandoleer is broken in all of emu. Do not use it, it makes items disappear at random.

This would probably be good information to have in the MOTD in bright pink letters...

I "lost" a weapon using the bandolier, though it did show up later in one of my bags after logging out for a while..

Thanks for the info, glad i found out before I lost my epics.

Fortunately it is something that people generally find early on in their emu experience. If they put everything that should be in the /motd it would be too long and never get read, lol.

What about the potion belt? is that broken too?

I don't know anything about the potion belt and have not tried it myself. Fortunately if it is broken the losses are not that great.

Related to the revision Hunter is running & SoF+ clients.. It's fixed in latest SVN.

Ok this is more than a bandoleer issue, it just happened again and I wasn't using bandoleer. I was casting coh and it said I was missing pearls. I had 2 stacks of them in my bag, when I picked them up I got the message "Error: Server found no item in slot 265 (->30), Deleting item!" I deleted the pearls, gated and noticed my bag and gear had yet again disappeared. What the hell is going on here? I'm losing bag after bag of stuff.

Nope, had a kavruul's mystic pouch.

Could be a problem with that bag.  I only get that "item not found - deleting" thing with LDON tokens after using the saylink to turn them in.

(I also crash the client every time I combine a complete epic book, luckily so far have not lost one...  :o

Still cant figure this out, I thought it might be the bag slot so I filled a bag with junk and left it in the slot but that wasn't the issue either. Had a bag of the tinkerers with all my illusion items in it poof on me out of nowhere last night.

Anyone have an idea what the problem is? I don't even want to carry anything of use on me at this point.

What client are you using? Did you continue using the bandoleer at all? Do you use the potion belt? What ui are you using? I am not seeing anyone put up a message saying they are having the same problem so it seems like it might be something you are doing different.

Yeah the fact that I don't see anyone else with this problem is what has me baffled. I'm running SoD, default UI, I'm not using bandoleer but I do use the potion belt, does the belt cause problems like this? I forgot to mention that on the last bag that disappeared I had looted a darkwood trunk in fear, deleted a trader satchel after I moved the items that were in it, I put the trunk in that slot and when I closed my inventory window that's when I saw the tinkerer bag vanish.

Traders satchels are the ones you use in bazaar when you put your items up for trade, right? If so I would get rid of them, put everything from your inventory in the bank. Leave nothing in your inventory, relog all the way out and maybe that will clear it up.

It's not that I have heard anything about traders satchels but that's the only thing I can think of.

I'm using SoD and default UI and NO problems like that.  I only use Backpacks* in the bank and a few tinker bags on person.  I don't use the potion belt (don't even know what that is...)

Well this is weird.  Twice I have lost my Tailored Quiver today!  (1000pp from newbie vendor..)

The only thing different is I got a Air Elemental illusion item from LDON..  that's the only thing I can think of anyway..

SO either there's a bug with that item, or other illusion items??  or just in general...  Very weird.

I don't know what contents if any are responsible for bags poofing, I've lost every different type of item imaginable over the past few weeks on several different characters.

oh noes! my bag ate me epic 4.0's.... i demand compensation! (kidding btw)

on a more serious note, i have noticed my clerics 2.0 pages have disappeared.

this is sad new =/ at least they are easy to come by realitively

I stopped using the Air elemental illusion (banked it) and so far, haven't lost any bags/quivers...  Coincidence?  Dunno, but I'm not using that ever again..

air elemental form is weak anyway. Earth form with luclin graphics is where its at

Well it happened again yesterday.. luckily it was just a Tailored Quiver with nothing in it (1k from the noob vendor).  I moved the quiver to another slot, dunno if it will help.

But I just completed a Fleeting Quiver now and I'm gonna be pretty cheesed if that poofs..  :-\
