I was curious if there'd be any interest in changing the way 2handers and Firestrike work for t7 and above, just so we don't have to keep our Underfoot clients around to reaug them in tiers to come. My idea is to just consolidate the two Firestrike augs into one big happy aug, and reduce the 2hander aug slot from 2 down to 1. The mats for making the aug could be tricky, but we could just make a replacement for Magic Blue Diamond to make up for the limited slots in the Magic Box to contain such a bulk recipe. Something like "Super Mega Rock" for 3 million plat + Firestrike 9 + SLSx4 + Essencex4 = Firestrike 10.

To play devil's advocate of myself before anyone jumps the gun: No, there is not really much issue in loading a client up to reaug a character ONE TIME per tier and never needing to use it again. QQ more you stupid noobie, Hate has better things to work on than your wankery.

Something like Firestrike X + whatever to get an identical augment with a name change to sneak it past the RoF client.

I was wondering too about that actually. I have noticed the differences in the UF and RoF clients. I started to go back and use the UF client due to the Aug thingy but switched right back to RoF. I likes the ability to use most clickies in the bags that RoF implements. I do keep a copy of UF around so if I do want to do the strike aug thing, I can.

The click from bag alone is reason enough to switch, especially on EZ! But the biggest reason is performance. RoF2 uses a ton less resource than UF, and mountains less than Titanium.

Ya, this x100. I was able to put 18 toons inside t9 last night and my RAM usage was only sitting around 55% (16 gig). On Underfoot, without having a skinned client setup either, I was hitting 90% and higher with just 13 or 14 toons. And the clicking from bags is pricelessssss. I have a bar with all my warrior's clickies on it now. Nothing would make me wanna go back to UF after just playing on RoF for one day.

Let's not forget the ability to remove augs directly without the sealer. I wish we could just fix the duplicate aug issue all together. I have like 6 char with full sets of T9 gear that I need to aug then equip and I can't bring myself to load up UF and flu through the dummy aug /aug thing so many times. It's like 30 minutes per set to do :(.

Haha, I'll just use different rank resist stones to get that covered War. Most of my boxes already have that setup going just to avoid having to use dummy augs and waste time in the past. Most of the team has rank 8, rank 9, and rank 10 augs in all their gear.

Realistically, I've got something in mind for this process. It'll just take a few days to get it in, but I'll need to be off work (and ideally, post T10). It will solve all of the augmenting issues so you ladies/gents/trolls can finally retire the UF client. :-)
