Title: Question about Pofire Post by: revloc02 on August 12, 2015, 07:54:11 pm It's been 5 years since I played here. I have a pally with an epic 3.0 (whatever that means these days). I went to pofire the other day and pulled like 20 mobs and tanked them just fine. In fact, they could hardly touch me. PLed a cleric from 60 to 70 in a few minutes.
Then I went there today and 1 monster killed me. What gives? I'm not complaining, I'm just trying to understand. Title: Re: Question about Pofire Post by: Mixlor on August 13, 2015, 04:37:58 am It has been scaled to match your toons. I guess when your cleric got to 70.. it took in account that there were 2 lvl 70+ toons in the zone... grouped so it adjusted the mobs HPs and damage. The zone checks every so often and adjusts is what I think Hate said.
Example: I too recently helped a guildy lvl in Pofire. I am lvl 78 and he was lvl 54. The mobs conned dark blue to me. I got him to lvl 70 but when he left the zone, the mobs immediately conned white to me and their HPs jumped up.. a lot. I felt like I was in Tier 9 and needed my full group to bring down mobs. Pofire gives more exp now.. but is harder. It scales to match your group lvl average to make you earn that exp! Anyone know how often it checks to make adjustments? Are there other good places to PL a char from 47 to 70? Or is pofire still the best? Title: Re: Question about Pofire Post by: Waraesh on August 13, 2015, 12:53:46 pm I believe hate said it was checking every 15minutes. I still like pofire as fastest to get alts up to 70 and their first 500'ish aa's.
