Title: Re: Music Post by: hateborne on November 30, 2015, 01:24:51 pm Rymo,
What is it about the Japanese and good music? You ladies/gents seem to always have superb tastes. ;-) http://www.pandora.com/profile/stations/hateborne "Hate's Radio" is a good mix of power, death, black, doom, symphonic, and the like. "Power Metal Madness" is more mixed power metal. Almost exclusively power metal though with a few borderline groups. "Insanity" is mostly high speed power metal. "Murder" is almost exclusively death, doom, black, and symphonic death metal. You will notice a lack of "standards" in the collection (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc). This is because once they started playing on a station, I got one of their songs every third or four song for DAYS (which rules out RNG). I suspect this is because they may be cheaper to play than some of the other stuff (or free past a certain point). This resulted in big name, but awesome, bands drowning out the stations. -Hate Title: Re: Music Post by: hateborne on November 30, 2015, 01:57:45 pm Of note: I've been listening to "Hate's Radio" a lot over the last few weeks, no new songs, albums, or bands. This means I've created a station so specific that only what exists on there is what will play on there (translated: plays what exists, nothing new) or I've exhausted their metal collection 2.5 years ago and they have yet to add to it. I'm hoping for the first and may tinker with another "new station" to test that theory.

Title: Re: Music Post by: Rymo on November 30, 2015, 06:34:11 pm Thank you Hate, but I can't use Pandora from Japan.
IP filterling. Pandora said, "We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. ~~~.. We believe that you are in Japan (your IP address appears to be 124.xxx.xxx.xxx)" Title: Re: Music Post by: Darpey on November 30, 2015, 07:08:55 pm You could use a VPN to be from the USA... or Mexico... Or the Carribean. I use privateinternetaccess - $50 a year but totally worth it. Plus your ISP can't throttle your speed for things like Netflix...
