New Spell File and Angry Nerds Augment Changes!


First, new spell file is available. I highly suggest everyone redownload the EZ Server Files too as a lot has changed over the last month. If you have not updated within the last week or so, please do so! I know most don't commonly update it, as there is no reason to do so. Consider this your front-page reminder. :-D

Second, Angry Nerds (AN) augments have been changed up to better fit the new augment system. The breakdown is as follows:

(Level Req / Type) AN# = Source
(69/ST) AN1 = Fighter's Guild Vendor
(69/AOE) AN2 = QVIC / CT Drop
(71/ST) AN3 = Crafted (PoD components or AN2 x 2)
(71/AOE) AN4 = Crafted (AN3 x 3)
(75/ST) AN5 = Crafted (AN4 x 4)
(75/AOE) AN6 = Crafted (AN5 x 5)

I am aware some of them still drop, I'll track them down and update this post. Additionally, the values are NOT set in stone. Before the sh**storm starts, keep in mind I can literally change them on the fly and you will only need to zone to see them "updated". Overall, AoE ranks saw a damage increase and now have "randomized" damage rolls. PLEASE keep feedback vaguely useful. Simply crying with no suggestion on fixing or improving will be ignored.

Downloaded server files
Just noticed one error, i don't know if it effects anything, memory allocations etc
The first line of nexus_chr.txt says 958 and should be 98 - amount of lines to load

It does work without error, but unsure if anything is effected in background

Its like my Vah Shir BstL just refuses to log on 1/2 the time and the other half gets disconnected. I can't stay on to do anything meaningful. Also other characters like mages get disconnected after a few minutes.

My war has better luck. But never seen the connection this bad.

On the AN4 and 6, it's showing:  Decrease Hitpoints by UnkownCalc122.

Is this just a display issue on the item?   I have the new spell file.

This is my failing. Another spellfile should be ready Thursday or Friday. :-)

Vah Shirs go LD on arrival. Can't cast spells, can't loot even if they manage to be logged in.

Accounts won't log in and boot back to login screen. Other chars go LD lots too but Vah Shirs beat them all.

Did you get any new items recently or did you unlock the 10th spell gem?

No char is still a T4. I went back to the old spell file and server file but still lot of disconnecting where I had none before. So I'm guessing it has something to do with some of the server files changed by lastest update.

Also getting booted to Login screen when I camp out a character instead of going to char select screen. I've rebooted my modem and switches and all. Nothing seems to help.
