Title: Shield of the Ages Level Requirements Post by: gnonim on March 01, 2016, 06:25:31 pm My group is level 73, at the Abyss. Just found out if you make a strike aug with essence from Anguish, it won't proc for a level 73.
Wondering if the same will happen with the SotA if i take it up to level 36 (first one with an Anguish essence). Meaning, i could still wear it, but the clickable effect would not work for a level 73. Anyone know the answer? Otherwise why not just pay someone to get the essences for later tiers and just give your team Strike XII's and totally trivialize the content. So to answer your question, no....you cannot use Anguish gear before you can actually zone into Anguish.
