Title: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: swamphy on June 20, 2010, 06:09:29 am Call me a capitalist... but with the new 'paid in platt, Instanced Zones', I see the need for a thread on making fast CaSh in game.
With the new demand for platt, this will likely be overcamped soon (unless it is added to the instanced list). Please post your idea's for bringing in the cash with high level toons. The other thread is "Beginners Guide to Quick & Easy Cash (Platinum)" it's for BEGINNERS. This thread is for HIGH LEVEL. There is a big difference in what one can do with a duel 3.0 epic toon and a level 20 noob toon. Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: Reed on June 20, 2010, 12:33:49 pm same concept, just faster with epics.
If you wanna be "Uber" go farm Qvic for cash. i get several hundred thousand plat per visit Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: swamphy on June 20, 2010, 02:20:29 pm What do you do in Qvic for cash?? Just loot gems off trash mobs?
You must be pulling half the zone at a time to make a few hundred K per trip, if that's what you're doing. Doesn't seem to be all that much cash in qvic. (to me). Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: zomgDanyelle on June 20, 2010, 03:01:44 pm In that case may i make a suggestion? Ssraeshza Temple. Yes the Luclin Shissar zone. KoS mobs, mildly low hp (High for their day on Live but with EZ's uber gear their hp are barely a couple combat rounds per kill) and they only hit for ~100 max. My Ranger can pull close to 100 or more and not drop below 97% hp before she regens back again and the coin they drop (gems, scales, etc etc etc) can build up quite fast. I'd say around ~20k per every 20ish Shissar.
Also is you're REALLY uber fire up a PoD instance and farm chests. easily 10k for every 1 or 2 chests in gems alone. Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: Balthor on June 23, 2010, 04:29:44 am QVIC QVIC and MOAR QVIC ---
I walk outa there with over 200k on 2-3 characters easy after only a few rounds of bosses Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: PORTIS on June 23, 2010, 04:43:10 am Hill Giants in Lake Wrathe, drop gems, FS weps and about 30-50pp possible in one go. I can make 1k in about 3 hrs easy :P
Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: stoc22 on July 01, 2010, 10:14:47 am Old Sebilis drops mad gems and is easy for 50+ ~100pp per gem. Fearplane has a lot of mobs and drops blue diamonds (~250pp) frequently and shouldn't be difficult for anyone 55+. As for late late game I don't know.
Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: Uxt on July 02, 2010, 08:33:22 am Fletching is profitable. Make arrows to 212, then make bows. Each bow you make and sell back to the vendor nets you twice the amount you paid for making it. In other words, buy 5k in shadewood bow parts, make them, sell them back and you end up with roughly 10k. I made about 30k every 10 minutes.

Don't laugh but, LOTTO BOT! Look for when the jackpot is high (10k+) and just play it until you win. I've won about 75k from her :) Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: Balthor2 on July 02, 2010, 02:48:49 pm Yea I tried to dump 120k onto the lotto bot one day but i made the mistake of letting people know.
By the time I got it to 20k of my own personal funds others had dropped another 30k into it and I fawking won. Ok reason I say qvic (if you can kill fast) is they drop a lot of gems and drop them quickly. Other zones just do not yield the same amount of gems besides maybe PoGrowth. Go wack tunare and let the script cause the zone to train you and loot as shit dies. You can not clear the zone quick enough to actually kill tunare before stuff respawns. That means its a never ending train of blue diamond dropping mobs. Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... I assume you were gearing toons up over a few hours to make 200k. Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... But nobody came when i smacked her. Title: Re: The Quest for More Money... (High level plat guide) Post by: swamphy on August 11, 2010, 02:38:34 pm FYI, I had the same idea about a month ago. The entire zone does NOT agro on you as suggested, but it does send several mobs at you.
Cash value is very low, but it's a fun solo if you've ever been to a Tunare raid on live. Definitely worth doing once for the fun of it. oh yeah, I did get a clicky DS belt off Tunare for my monk. Not worth the bother in higher end custom zones, but could make a really nice twink item. min lvl was 45 or so I think. |
