Misc Updates/Notes/Things!


Firstly, I am not dead. I was in and out of planes last week to get hired. Yaaaay! I'll still be active, just not literally logged in all day anymore.

Second, UWs now have level limits in place. Yes it sucks, yes it was unexpected, but it's in place to address too many issues and discourage newbies from STARTING into the UW grind instead of playing the bloody game. The UW is basically tier + 1 (i.e. XII is obtainable AFTER T10 [L79], XI is obtainable AFTER T9 [L78], etc etc). The lowest level is 71 for UWs.

Finally, the turn in "safety net" will not be coming back. Akkadius wrote a @#%@ing awesome tool to save people from themselves, but in the end, it was abused during lag. Since Hunter and EQ live was all about "you lose it, you fix it", we will be returning to that policy. If you hand in your UCv3 parts to wrong NPC, not my problem. If you hand in 100 essences to your pet/banker/merchant, not my problem. If you accidentally hand in your class augment to the Newbie Vendor, again, not my problem.

• My Problem: Server failed, server ate it, quest failure, lag-based deletion or out-of-sync.
• Not My Problem: Literally everything else.

Any chance of a one hand pierce weapon dropping off Orc named for rogues? Also is there going to be an increase in the spawn rate of the plagueborne mobs in T10?  As it stands I have turned in 100 orc weapons on Raygan but am only around 115 plagueborne kills.  Thats after I have outfitted all my guys in t10 gear (both visible and non-visible).

Thats very nice to do it now with the UW I just did my UW XII yesterday and cant use it now anymore ? I am working in T10 have done all the quests except kill 1000 Plague ( have done 700 now ) have all armor but cant get the next lvl 79 ? When will it be to get lvl 79 ? I thought the plagues are for epic and not to lvl up. Some further information would be really nice and not just going ahead to make the game some people which really working hard on it unplayable. Or go and give me my 100 essences back and give me my UW XI with all the augs Hatstomp IV, Ultimate Protection IV, and Epic 9.0 :p

1 hand pierce weapon does drop off the named Gnoll boss...not sure if you have ever killed him but that is where I got mine for the rogue.

As explained in the email, converted it back down to XI and added 100 Essence of Sunderock item (quest result) in your claim bank.

UW should be tier not tier +1 imo.

Also on the note of server losses I handed in a 20kAA crystal after akka's changes and was not awarded with the aa. I received the message but did not receive the aa. Would like these aa back but more importantly folks should be checking their /AA to ensure they actually receive aa from crystal hand-ins.

I think you need to look at UW again. It's tier + 1 because UW is 2 levels higher than the tier (qvic = UW, cazic = UW2, t1 = UW3). So your character has to be high enough level to zone into the next tier for you to do UW for the tier you are working.
