as much as it was a troll post, i think its utterly hilarious that things get nerfed after a year of being the same way, simply because a single individual who re rolled, from playing the server previously, takes advantage of the system that is in place, and for whatever reason people want to just claim that he is an exploiter/botter. When there was nothing botted, or exploited.

But i guess the cries of focus hope go strong.

aybess is awesome! hunting down chains find that rare boss you where missing. yes you gotta adapt your play and work around game mechanics but that is what eq as always been about. plus if you hate rng like everyone seems to you can hunt down that one drop you want.

I guess you don't think that bringing in level 70/71 to scale down the PoFire just so level 72 can pull whole zone and kill it in one furious disc isn't exploit? Because it is and it wasn't what it was intended in first place. Sure it was intended to be AA hotspot, but not intended to be abused like that. There's plenty of reason why PoFire got hit by nerf bat so MANY times.

EXP Mask/RoA/UW were long overdue for it's level requirement and people were against it because they didn't see any problem except Hate did. But he just left it alone until someone abused it. Then shit broke out and complaint were flooding in his email.

Other things were changed for balancing and health of server in long term. Can't have new players flying through Qvic to T5 in short times by themselves. That would be boring and kill the new players once they get to higher tiers.

P.S. - Abyss is awesome, it's different and hunting down the remaining names are fun.

P.S.S. - To certain someone, things are a lot easier than before. Not harder. You'd have to be daft to think otherwise.

Newbloods... jesus... nothing beats the crying when the original UW got nerfed. and things get balanced as new content comes in, or they learn how OP things are. learn to live with it, or quit like so many others. there is NOTHING you can do about it anyways.

What has ANY of that got to do with Focus Hope?  this is a change that the server admin felt needed to be done for the server as a whole...you don't know what all he has planned for later on that might make the changes he is doing right now necessary.  Seriously you are starting to sound like another person i know on this server.....but that's none of my business.  ::)

Not true, you can make a thread and gather supports/feedbacks from everyone for Hate/Akka to read regarding of changes.

• live with it
• start a petition and see how many other players agree, maybe something else can be planned out then
• quit

simple answers that don't involve whining like your 12.

QQ on the forums about changes goes no where, besides maybe getting people to pay attention to you, if thats all you want, go do something stupid and record it, then put it on youtube, you will get plenty of attention then, otherwise, do one of the previous 3 items I said above.

keep in mind, this is a free game, the admins manage it on their free time, and don't get paid for any of it. so whining like you just did makes you seem ungrateful towards those who are hosting a server so you and I can play, and doing it with no reward what so ever. Next time, maybe think about that and take a little more respectable approach. ;)

You and Godtank both labor under the delusion that Hate and Akk have a staff that helps them troubleshoot, monitor and fix items on the server, and that somehow they pay their bills with what they do here.

Ummmm....no. When you talking about nerfing things because someone "took advantage of something that was in place for over a year"....yeah, thats called an exploit if they did it in a way not intended by admin. When admin FINDS these issues (usually with the help of the playerbase) they shut em down. I know you werent here for this, but at one point Hunter had an effect on the T7+ warrior BP that essentially made the warrior unkillable. He didnt intend that, he didnt know it was happening, until it was pointed out to him....and after he fixed the issue by changing the effect.

It'd been that way for well over a year.

Godtank complains about the Skin of Drake nerf. Same issue. It was freakin BROKEN, so Hate fixed it. Well, same with the issue you're referring to. It was an exploit, plain and simple....so it was fixed. You HAD to know that the exploit wasnt intended....anyone with half a brain did if they were honest with themselves. So....Hate fixed it.

T5 is easier now than its been....ever....unless you were someone who was exploiting the T5 mini. If you were, then thank you! I hate the minis anyway, and people like you are the ones who will eventually see them completely shut down.

And unless I am thinking of someone different from you regarding the botter/exploiter thing.....again, delusional. The guy was a botmonkey, and was punished for such before the issue in question. And, again, unless he was mentally defective he and anyone else who jumped in with him KNEW it was an exploit....in fact I know for a fact he knew, because he sent a tell to one of my alts in a dead guild asking me to come join in "before they figure it out and shut it down".

Oh, and players around at the time of the old BP nerf will back me up on this: Hunter got PISSED and went off in OOC about all of use purposely exploiting what was obviously a mistake to our own benefit.

Maybe thing changed since 5 years is a long time. I did Abyss with 9 toons and didn't have any big problem with them swimming to targets.

obviously other people didn't have a problem. I know I watched and followed them around when teh zone first opened... believe me I tried everything.. /stick UW etc etc... tried for weeks. nuthing...  then I think Skyrim came out and welp.

Also probably an issue with your MQ2 choice. If you ever wanna try again, try the RoF2 client on the ezguide, and go to mqemulator.net and get the classic RoF2 download for EZ.

its takes a little bit of practice but i found wide turns or leveling out giving them time to get to the right level worked well. normally swim down in a big circle then once at the floor or level i wanted swim into it so your team is on the axis. did it with 6 and soon will be doing it again with 6 more
