Title: In Game Parser Post by: spuddson on March 27, 2017, 03:37:09 pm Well today we tried to get pets parsed to find out what their DPS is and found it nigh on imposible to do now. i tried Gameparse but wouldn't register the pet damage from procs.
Does anyone know of a program that works with Rof2 or mebee would it be possible to put in a dummy with like 200 mill hp and once dead flash up the dps/ time taken to kill . ? Title: Re: In Game Parser Post by: Dimur on March 27, 2017, 09:50:10 pm I never bothered much with pets when I played, but when I parsed I made sure to do it from it's own EQ directory. Both my main and skinny have a shitload of filters set up both through EQ and MQ2 and I didn't want to bother toggling shit back and forth, so I just used a virgin install to parse from. The problem with using Gamparse is that damage totals are so high on EZ that if you parse a log file longer than 5-10 mins, it totally borks it. Because of this, when I did the parses, I first cut the log files up and ran the parses on small chunks to get an aggregate idea. There's also a plugin in MQ2 that parses live time, MQ2DPSAdv, but I never really checked it for accuracy.
Title: Re: In Game Parser Post by: walk2k on March 28, 2017, 12:04:15 pm problem is pet procs (aka pirate strike from mana neck) do not show up anywhere, even with all filters off. they simply are not displayed in any window, or log. not with Rof2 client, anyway.
I'll save you the trouble - pet dps sucks hot turds. |
