Title: Server Select Post by: Raygan on January 26, 2020, 11:21:16 am Lately, when i try to log on, there is nothing listed on the server select screen. Has anyone else been noticing this or is it just me? Trying to load in 12 toons is getting to be a pita and frustrating to have to keep logging out and try to log back in multiple times to get the toon in. ???

Has happened off and on but this is the first time it has happened for 4-5 days in a row. Was wanting to try the event this weekend but I can't get my guys loaded in without the blank server select screen and then guys crashing while zoning and try to bring them back in and server select is blank again....just a huge waste of time to even attempt to log in like that. >:(

Title: Re: Server Select Post by: Ryndon on February 06, 2020, 07:41:32 pm Sounds like a lot have had this issue, so I'm sure there are multiple reasons it can happen. Personally for me it happened years ago and it was a slow WiFi speed that was causing it. I did a speed test and was getting way under what I should, like 1-2 Mbps. Turned out my wifi was on the same channel as many other houses nearby. Once I switched the channel, it worked like a charm, and speeds were what they should have been.
I'm not saying this is y'all's same problem since so many are seeing it at the moment, but maybe it will help someone. Always worth a speed test to see what speeds you're getting. I have looked at Eqemulator and not seeing any posts regarding server connect issues. So is this something that is on my side or something on their side? If it is on their side I see nothing being addressed....if it is on my side I am just stumped.
Title: Re: Server Select Post by: Raygan on February 08, 2020, 07:15:43 am One thing I have noticed after repeated attempts of trying to log toons in....for example Hnooker...when I did a /who all Hnooker I saw 3 of him online all with a level of 0 in and unknown zone....so when your toon doesnt load in is it keeping a version of that toon online making it difficult, impossible, to load that toon in? Same thing happened with Damaskus as well.

Title: Re: Server Select Post by: Akkadius on February 10, 2020, 01:24:26 pm Make sure that if you guys are experiencing LD on pulls; that you absolutely turn off every single filter in the options menu that you do not need on your boxes.
This is very different from MQ2 filters; MQ2 filters do NOT inform the server to NOT send you packets for messages. There is a tremendous amount of network traffic that generates with multi-boxers and combat spam; so turn off everything in the filters tab that you do not need, this will make a huge difference Title: Re: Server Select Post by: Raygan on February 11, 2020, 02:25:11 pm After seeing the change log I had high hopes...still getting blank server select screens etc.
