Anyone caught targeting mobs thru walls, ghosting, warping, or any other plugins to gain an unfair advantage WILL BE BANNED! We may even ban your IP and all of your boxes if needed. We have new custom source code to detect this stuff. You have been warned. Report to moderator Logged Hunter - EZ Server GM Since i couldn't post on the actual update boards i would like to ask my question here about it. Isn't this the same policy that has been in place all along? use passive applications like the Map, but do not actively "hack" the server by warping and spawning mobs? I also would like to know if you could clarify other plugins, i am by no means an expert with MQ2 but i know a little. I have a stripped version of MQ for this server that only uses map and stick feature, and i know there are other plugins i removed. For those who don't know however it would be super if you could specify a bit more clearly what you want forbidden so others cant use the excuse "the explanation was to vague" later Title: Re: MQ2 Rules Update Post by: Sickem on April 01, 2010, 09:23:45 pm Well, it's actually easier for him to say, use map and /stick only. Anything else will get you b&. Keeping it in black and white is the only way it won't get out of hand. It's also April 1st, so I'll wait until tomorrow to pass judgment on anything lol.
Title: Re: MQ2 Rules Update Post by: Hunter on April 02, 2010, 10:47:11 am Our policy all along has been no MQ2 at all, for anything. I'm just now allowing map and stick. I'm not going to give examples of any other plugins that you can't use. Just assume you can't.

What's the advantages to using these plugins? Stick seems useful to auto follow mobs (I assume that's what it does from reading the MQ wiki), but what does map do exactly? Is it like ShowEQ or what? Title: Re: MQ2 Rules Update Post by: Reed on April 02, 2010, 07:39:51 pm thanks for the clarification Hunter, much appreciated.
