Poor Sohami, I remember how hard it was to get through Qvic.  Wish I coulod have been taken through Qvic for cash back when I started.  But it was crazy fun learning the pulls and stuff.

Haha Gnaughty, no joke, (ironically) im paying for a 3.0 run on my SK tank for my bot team. So I can run qvic myself :)

A 3-4 box team of 3.0's is a lot more effective than 2.5's. That and I plan to scourge at least 20, 30 ROA ranks on the tank and see how that goes.

But yeah. I want to farm qvic by myself. But unfortunately, that means getting your 3.0's pretty much. Lol.

Qvic is entirely possible with 2.5'd characters. It's rough, but doable. Your tank does need to have some ring and guardian's charm levels though. Even with 3.0,  your tank needs to have about 30k hp and at least a handful of shielding/avoidance. It also really helps if you got some pals to play with you instead of boxing everything. ;)

I had a real blast clawing my way through this zone. It was an uphill battle all the way. Learning the pulls, boss locations, where to stand, more importantly where NOT to stand, how to deal with add spawning mechanics, etc... In the end all the blood, sweat, and tears were worth it for the true sense of accomplishment that followed. That to me is what makes the game.

I would highly recommend reconsidering paying someone to walk you through, but if your mind is set and you have yet to find someone...my team would probably do it for around 150k.

Yeah i know how hard it is doing qvic with a group full of 2.5 :) but it is doable, even without roa. lol its those damned adds :D good luck

It's not even a question of whether it's doable with a group of 2.5's...it's a question of whether or not there ARE EVEN people that aren't boxing that are willing to try and tough it out.  In my experience, there isn't.  It's like once people reach a certain point on this server, the only answer is being forced into boxing, which ISN"T FUN.  I don't care if you're good at it.  It's not enjoyable.

I find it quite enjoyable. It is challenging. At times it can be annoying, and I try to avoid those times.

There are guilds that would be happy to have you. Make a guild called <We Hate Boxing>!

I ended up getting a run for my SK (50k) (thanks Paladinsteve-you rock) and a run for my cleric (Free) -- there was someone farming plate drops for a toon and I went through with him for the coins.

Not a bad deal. At all.

No mention of the stacks :(.  But for real if anyone does need a token run I will most likely be in Qvic killing stuff for alts.
