Title: best group class?? Post by: brakkin on August 05, 2010, 10:40:16 am My main toon (laaros) is a SK, and i luvs him, but when im lfg and ppl ask what class i izz, they generally get pretty turned off by the SK response. My other toon, mage, gets a bit better reception but still doesnt rlly contribute much when farming ldon/etc. Most of the group oriented classes have become bots (i.e shaman, cleric, chanter.) Is there any specific class that is good for groups? I've spent most of last week running ppl through potime (the thought of it makes me sick now) from lack of anything else to do. any suggestions? =P

But kidding aside, you need to decide if you are going to be boxing 3-6 (an army) eventually, or just single/dual boxing. Then you can go from there. The best 2 person team (and will get you to QVIC and possibly beyond) is tank/healer. Preferably War/Clr. If you are eventually going to be boxing, level up the toons you are going to be boxing and farm plat on the way. Hopefully by the time they're getting their 2.5's, you can pay for a 3.0 qvic run, and at that point you're in good standing to progress/RoA farm for Qvic+. edit:: as far as 1.5-2.5 goes, if you can farm POT easily enough, you will be fine in LDON. Post by: Gnaughty on August 07, 2010, 04:03:18 pm Hey Laaros, yeah SK dps sadly is sad still and the class just doesn't bring enough to the tablke to warrant taking up a spot. If you enjoy him playing though just keep playing and box a war and cleric alongside him. If you can box that many I'd have to say that mix is best for you.
