These bastards have a badass DS and even with my group of wars which I admit are half ass get killed within seconds.  I tried pulling with pumice stone and with a paldin casting nullify magic.  neither worked since resists over three times in a row and multiple mobs.  Currently those mobs just arent workable and I wanted to come here and cry about it thankyou for your time.

Well some time in the recent past the server was updated and the resist rates got all kinds of fucked up.
Like I use to be able to reliably snare stuff on the first try or even second. Now I usually have to cast it 7 or 8 times.

For dispell use the enc or have a bard pulse the song (if they get it here, I havnt checked).

Use wizards?

Farming these and had a laugh. Remembered G-'s post and thought I would bump it.

Me and a friend wiped on them except for my monk.  We couldn't figure out what killed us til we looked at the 5k ds he had on him.  Well I tried my monk's LDoN chest clicky and bam it got rid of the ds first try, didn't agro the mob either.  Don't know if it works everytime but worth a try.

Yes indeed, the monk LDON chest is winsauce +1.

cancel magic ftw, most casting classes have it, even paladins (unresistable) still only takes two casts.

Thanks for resurecting it Balth i owe ya.  :P  I still don't like these so I avoid them at all costs.

Something else to keep in mind on any mob with a badass DS is Shielding Resistance AA.  For any dual-wielding chars, throw a non-weapon in your main-hand till it gets dispelled.  With 5 Ranks of SR you'll be immune to the DS with your off-hand.  We used to do this on the blobs in Solteris if anyone remembers those bastards from Live.  I use one of the clicky summon food / water items from Vex Thal (Dulak on EZ) personally.

use enchanters disspell don't they get a disspell thats slightly stronger anyways?. as in removed more buffs at a time

Enchanter dispell is the strongest in game I think, it can dispell up to 4 buffs with one cast. Plus, the higher the level the spell is, the harder it is to resist.

Btw on warrior if you put in a non weapon in primary hand OR remove primary hand weapon you will not swing off hand.
Ez server has all kinds of cute little things like this.
The best dispell is Monk and I say that because xiggie mains a monk. So I just say on vent "bitch, dispell, now" and its done.

You won't even hit w/ h2h w/o a primary weapon equipped?

well I assume if you had both hands empty you would go all brawler style on shit.
However if you have sword in secondary and remove primary you stand there like a stupid ogre ogling a gnome sammich.
Its very strange but at times its saved me since I have my primary sword hotkeyed on my bar for anger click. Something has a nasty mean ol DS I just pick up the sword and stand there like a retard.

It use to be one of the aug slots on a warrior epic would not proc.
For the longest time I had a mossy5 in that slot for an extra 1k hp.
During one of the svn updates it was fixed and that slot would actually proc.
Found this out one day while chatting with crab,shy and nug about it. After parsing it I confirmed the suspicious nature of that evil aug slot.
