They changed it from the great flaming axes to cut back on the amount of lag from there being 23948023942 warriors in the game :P personally I think (http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/9177/warrior.png) looks good, as it looks pretty close to the old look just without the particle effect. Such a sick weapon even after i replaced it i walked around with it equipped for the look when i wasnt fighting.

Though as i recall he's said he isn't moving forward with any SoD stuff yet, which would also infer weapon graphics.
