Title: Screenshots Post by: Pazz on September 01, 2010, 11:34:52 pm Yesterday I took a screenshot of a very unfortunate incident as a proof. Now I just can't find that screenshot (I have taken it with the "-" button). Any clue where it could be?
People told me its in the Everquest folder, unfortunatly it isn't. Thanx a lot. Title: Re: Screenshots Post by: walk2k on September 01, 2010, 11:51:15 pm If you are on Vista or 7 I think you have to right-click the shortcut and "run as administrator" otherwise it can't save screenshots in the "program files"/etc... folders. I had the same problem.. it even says "saving screenshot" but it doesn't. At least I think that's the explaination...
Title: Re: Screenshots Post by: lerxst2112 on September 01, 2010, 11:52:18 pm They are in the screenshots folder, named EQ000000.bmp and counting up. Title: Re: Screenshots Post by: Isaaru on September 02, 2010, 08:09:27 am Example, your mileage may vary:
C:/program files/sony/everquest/screenshots/EQ000001.bmp Title: Re: Screenshots Post by: walk2k on September 02, 2010, 12:17:18 pm Yeah that's where they are supposed to go but they don't save there (or anywhere I can find) on W7 if you don't run as admin.

If you're running Windows 7 or Vista and you cant find them where they are supposed to be try doing the following: 1. Click "Start" and open My Computer 2. In the upper right of the wondowpane you should have a search dialogue box 3 Type in *.bmp and hit enter, this will search your entire drive for any and all .bmp files Title: Re: Screenshots Post by: lerxst2112 on September 02, 2010, 03:08:48 pm You probably want to search for eq*.bmp to limit the list a bit. I never install anything in Program Files on Windows 7 or Vista. The virtualization nonsense is something I will always avoid if I can. |
