Seems if this is bugged again,

Logging off and on works..
Manastone works.

But RC3... not working.

Any other ways to currently clear it?

Radiant cure, monk tranquil force and purify....none of them will break root. 

Updated source code, and got a lot of "patch" files from Secrets, and some of them not working since the updated source has come along so far.

As mentioned, manastone does work, even on melée types. Unfortunately, it costs 10k off the noobie vendor if you aren't in the casters guild (yeah, 10k isn't much for me, but it might be for some people). For CG, get the shrimp mana stone.

You might have to click the manastone from1 to 30 times to get root to break, but at least you won't be stuck there for 15 minutes.

So what's the deal? Secrets secretly through in some secret patches in the update?

Still bugged I guess ill buy a manastone or 9 LOL :P

I click'em.. don't like to. Until it gets fixed I don't want not fight those mobs.

I found out if you duel your alts after your caster gets out of root you can just beat on yourself and 3 or 4 hits later you will lose root as well... Just a thought for everyone out there. :-)

Any solution for pets?

For pets you can suspend them then unsuspend them and it will remove the root.

Or you can always just summon pet to you via summon companion and place him where you want him :P little more dangerous but if you don't have suspend AA it works lol
