Title: Upper guk down?
Post by: ♫§µÄdÖBlÖÖd♫ on September 14, 2010, 02:20:18 pm
Is upper guk down? Because every time I attempt to zone into that zone my computer locks up and won't finish the zone lol just wondering if that is happening to anyone else or only me?

Weird.  Would say log in my account to check but you have enough accounts to try.  I'll check when I get home if anyone else has not yet.

Working for me.  Could be a bad texture cache if you have that turned on.  If not try re-installing...

maybe an alternative to re installing would be have someone the zone loads for send you the zone file.

OR

replace the files from your backup Titanium/SoD folder.... you do have a backup, right?

best advice ever:
Always keep a fresh install backed up. It takes an extra 2 minutes at the time of installation to copy your whole Titanium/SoD folder.

Hmm, I'd never thought of this (or heard of it). So you simply make a copy of the EQ folder and put it somewhere safe?

Do you also do this with all your games? All software installations?

Just wonderin. Thx.

I put mine under my pillow to ensure complete safety.
