EZ Server

I'm in the process of making some hopefully useful content for the server. Much of the current content is made for newer players that just started or are contemplating to start out on EZServer. I will also add content that may be relevant even for those of us that has already been here a while.

I've also started on a series I called "Guide and showcase for EZServer". Which will introduce new players to all the relevant content on EZ as well as important items, quests, NPC's, instancing and various tips and tricks. I have started the first videos being quite thorough, but hopefully without too much spoilers and I will continue in a more loose manner when introducing the later tiers.

Just hope it can be useful for some people. I plan on releasing content now and then during summer break, so I will keep updating this thread when I upload more videos. Hopefully it will accumulate into a showcase for the entire server and it's content to lure in some more players  ;)

do you use autologin to login all your characters? i would think logging in 30+ manually would take some time. Im curious to see how you do it if you are comfortable showing.

Good stuff though. Thank you for taking to time to make and edit and upload those. You've earned my sub!

Not planning on making a video on it, but it goes like this:

• I click the profile in Innerspace and kick back while all the clients load automatically. This will take a few minutes for me with 33 clients. MQ2 will make sure the clients skips to login screen.
• Then I click the broadcast button on ISBoxer which sends all commands (keys, mouse clicks and mouse movement)to all client windows. Since I have the same password on all accounts, I basically just type the password once and press the auto login to last server button. That takes all characters to EZ Server's character selection screen and from there I just press enter once and all clients will get in game. At this point I deactivate the ISBoxer broadcast button and am done.

I have never tried the autologin feature before, so I cannot compare them myself. I do find this method to be pretty easy though all in all.

I have updated the OP and added new links for the "guide and showcase to EZ" series that I am currently working on.

I'm a little surprised that no one has described mq2autologin as a response to this, but it's probably just because the information is in the forums somewhere. To give a reference point though to compare: mq2autologin will input the password, select the server, and enter world on the character setup in it. So all you have to do is just load up the clients. It's been awhile since I've set mine up but I'm pretty sure it just detects the account name when the client loads up or when it's typed in (if it account login is blank when loading the client) and goes from there. It can be a bit of a pain to swap between characters on the same account but for the most part all I ever have to do to login is load up mq2 and hit my batchfile to log my toons in. I manually log in my warrior out of habit from having to check the server id but I could just add the warrior into the batchfile and mq2autologin to get everyone in. I also find it super useful when you have a client crash for any reason, just use the shortcut with their login info in it and that's it.

Finally done with the entire Guides and showcase series for all the zones, now including Sleepers Tomb and Veeshan's Peak.

More random stuff will come in the next weeks.
