I know there is some auto connect thing...not really a fan of all that BUT is there a way to save your password to each client so when you load up all your toons (18 in my case) you don't have to key in the password to each client?  I have looked through WinEQ and dont see anything other than the username....and don't see anything in EQ client files or in MQ2 that allows you to save the password info..... Huh

Anyone has seen Grimfoot or Forgemaster yet?

I have seen Grimfoot once after revamp T10 cant get him to spawn now:(

Have seen Grimfoot 1x as well.   No sign of Forgemaster.

Same one Grimfoot (although I killed bandits for hours before I went into the portal (which spawned him)) but havent seen him since.....no Forgemaster either...but not sure what faction he is on....I have only been killing sarnaks since T10 was reopened.....getting armor sets for 18 toons is a pita!

2. I echo Orthanos (wtf) in that PB spawns in place are amazing, thank god, but also that the kill count is still too high. Either PBs should spawn about 2x as much as they do now, or kill count should be 500. This is my opinion, but I think most folks agree with something along these lines.

In addition to the increased spawn rate having the plagueborns spawn at point of death is a huge boost. Cannot count how many plagues I have given up in the last year because they spawned at middle gnolls in a tower you can't get toons into surrounded by archers. Not to mention the extra time in clearing half the zone to get all your plagues after a day of hard farming. I think the current spawn rate is perfect, for the time being and for a top tier zone. When T11 is released I wouldn't be against a bump, but for now I think there is a great balance between time to complete and not minimizing the work people put in before the changes.


Where I want to agree with you, Blarr....and I hate the idea of trivializing work other's have done, as well....to me it is silly to have 1000 PB where you will have 100 T-10 esse before you have the epic from the same zone....now an idea I have been thinking about would be to make the t10 epic be more powerful than the UW or maybe use Ultimate Augs in the T10 epic...to start a transition away from the UW's entirely.....but that's just my opinion.

ok to start with. The change to make PB's spawn where you killed the mob is terrific. I don't know if maybe sarnaks are just funny on PB spawn rates....talking with Brunaa...she says she has no issue...so maybe it is just me...but I have finished sarnak kill quest (orc kill quest from befoe revamp)...sitting at 463 kills on PB. Just wondering if maybe we could look into PB spawn rates and see if maybe they could be tweaked....Naldatik, my necro i made not long ago and wasnt in t10 before revamp, is only sitting at 109 kills.  he is complete on sarnak armor and has been ally for a good while now.....

pfft forgemaster...  cleared the sarnak camp for hours today with not a single named spawned...over 1200 kills...nothing...rng!  this was in pub...


Sarnak bosses definitely spawn.    I'm not sure anyone has spawned Forgemaster yet.

I am past ally on all 18 toons (still have 4 toons to finish armors on before I move to Gnolls) have only seen Vaxxol and BoB....few mini nameds....didn't know Forgemaster was a named from Sarnak camp.

Nobody that does an OOC about buffs hides in a private instance when they throw the buffs out.

that's not true. i have /ooc that i would be MGB in nexus in "x" minutes....and i was in nexus the whole time but was an instanced nexus.....and it was open...but screw it if people don't find it funny. i did.

I say keep your SK as a dps toon, cause some toons are sentimental like that, and roll your warrior. Later on I think you will find a UCv3 SK with a UW a big plus on your side.....will just take a while to get to that point. Have fun though.

Yea the undead loot still drops in the mini.

At no point did I ask for anything to be "adjusted" other than vampire loot drops were still there since that quest line was ended in T10.....kinda jumpin' the shark on me there Hurty...of course I expect nothing less from you and the "Maslow" crowd....The only modification it needs is the ability to pet pull the named from the zone in area.....

Just throwing this out there...but why is the PB kill count 1000?  At the rate of 1000 you could have an UW, that you couldn't use, before you would even have the epic.  Huh The logic i don't understand......

Mobs like Sarnak War Wizard/ Remains od Advisor Shir' Ock/ Ghost of chancelor Di'zok spawns with emote like a plagueborn. Same with the old Freeport/Qeynos quest mobs (quest that was removed from T10)....so the lieutenants that spawn (named that spawn off trash that just drop plat bags) are spawning as PB's...so I would assume that is skewing your logs on PB spawns.  You told me yesterday you were seeing 3 PB's an hour....I just aint seeing it.  Even with changing the filter so that i see every emote, i have had 1 PB today. The rest have been freeport Squeeker and the old world type sarnak nameds that drop old world loot.

Just a thought on Plagueborns...if you have them spawn you can /highlight # and get them to highlight on map.....but if we could have each camp's PB's spawn in a centralized location.....just a thought to throw out there.  if you are farming Gnolls...why go to a orc amp to clear to a PB and vice versa....my idea....the screenshot below (forgive the penmanship, not use to writing with a mouse)


Modify...../highlight # does not highlight plagueborns...but it does highlight all the other spawns like Freeport squeaker and the mobs in the camp....not sure why it doesn't work on plagueborns


The only way to clearly see PB's, when they  spawn, is to have a spare toon disconnected from bccmd and do a /map hide npc. Then when a PB spawns check that toons map to see where it spawned..../pulls hair out....
