Combine for SoA XLVII is not working. XLVI did.

Essence of Norrath only required for ranks ending in 1 or 6 for shield.

So its only required for ranks 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26 ... etc

You can run the plugin to remove the acceleration and deceleration time so you can instantly run/stop on a mount, that is fine.

I'm leaning towards making a super rare boss on floors 1-6 with unique essences for UW's 1-6, then all UW 7+ would require the regular ToFS essence from Floor 7. The bosses on floors 1-6 will probably be as rare as the final boss as well, since you'd only need 1 essence per floor, not like 200 for charm upgrades or anything, so will be super rare hard to find, but can trade to players to sell too.

Might make it next week, so if your upgrading UW's 1-6 then hold onto your materials for new combines, unless you already got ToFS essence you want to waste earlier.

Spell file 09-26-13b is now available for download.

Created new Crafter Recipe Books for each category since all the recipes won't fit in 1 book. The new books are on the Crafter Merchant in the Crafters Guild Zone.

The old Crafter Recipe book can be traded to the Crafters Merchant for a refund, which will help to buy the new books too.

Created new ranks for items:
Strike Augs 10-12
Mana Necklance 10-12
Ultimate Weapons 10-12
Shield of the Ages 46-60

Those ranked items are for T8 ToV, T9 Old Commons, and T10 Future Tier.

Recipes are now available to make new items!

Essence Trader now giving out Task for 100 Essences of Temple Veeshan and 100 Essences of Old Commons.

All those ranked items have new update in spell file for clicks, worns, focus, and proc except for the UW's.

The rank 12's and 56-60 is basically made in advance for future tier 10, to save time in advance basically.

Tier 9 Old Commons is almost finished. Already have spawns, triggers, merchants, items, and loot list done. All that is left to do is to make spells, recipes for armor and ranked items, and edit npc/item stats, then should be finished. At this rate will be done before Halloween, most likely next week.

I'm still working on T9 right now in oldcommons, but still have UW on my mind, and thinking how to make it easier but still keeping it rare as possible on the server. I realize current setup in ToFS excludes anyone that isn't T7+ from getting UW ranks. Will figure a way to make mid tier players have a rare chance to get components.

I thought about using resist stones, such as Stone XI for UW1 ... Stone XIX for UW9, but realize the math on that, would make players go insane.

Don't forget that regular custom tier progress is possible without the UW since most of it was created and blanced before UW even existed. And now that rampage is gone and we have hundreds of new custom spells made by Hateborne, content is even easier than before. You don't have to have an UW to get to end game. Its more or less super rare item that gives end gamers that did everything something more to grind.

Fixed a few bugs and exploits in ToFS.

Players should properly receive fading memories buff each time they click on a mirror to port. A simple name typo prevented this when I originally made ToFS custom earlier this year. Should be working as intended now. Will help to prevent any mobs/trains from following players to other floors when getting teleported. This includes the pit trap exit on one of the floors too.

Still planning to revamp the Essences of Frozen Shadow for UW some time soon, by either making them super rare on lower floors, or different versions of it off bosses on lower floors.

Cara should already be fixed and no longer equipping a dagger when its in the loot list. Haven't heard any complaints since so I'm guessing its working and fixed now. Any other npcs with this problem just let me know. Its a simple edit in loot tables db.

** New Boss **
An Angry Beholder now spawns as super rare boss in Qvic with tons of loots on it, just like the AD boss does.

How do Wizards DPS, both solo and in groups with certain classes, compare to other classes? Any numbers? I'm sure they are pretty high.

think someone did as i keep seeing it trigger last night but if they have  they are not shareing it...ik i've only got it to spawn twice and thats with clearing the whole zone mulitable times...which btw silver dragons have a very quick respawn timer lol

If spawned multiple times, could be several different people in several different private instances, since the spawn message is displayed to everyone regardless of zone your in. Highly doubt would get the boss to spawn in the same zone so soon one after another.

Hopefully players are having fun with that boss.

#Cara_Omica has been fixed, and will no longer equip the dagger if it is in the loot list. Effective after next reboot.

Some npcs we want to equip stuff so I can't just blanket fix it, would have to be individual npcs upon request. Its not the addloot code, its table loot list database stuff.

Wizards can have some amazing DPS, esp when paired with certain classes for buffs (mana).

A few hours ago I already put in a default.pl file into Nexus so that any npc without a quest file (like most vendors or merchants) would automatically return the items back to the player. I don't know why people giving their RoA to vendors lol. Had to reimburse in game face to face transfer players RoA back after checking logs for last ring rank handed in. So after doing that a few times,  yeah, its fixed now. But for the npcs that already have a quest file like CG/FG etc would have to check those npcs and add code if needed, since the default.pl won't affect those npcs. I won't put it into the global npc file since any npc that already has return item code would then basically double give back items aka duping. Needs to be specific npc quest file -or- the default.pl local in zone, not both.

Very high likely chance of updating UW quest to put Essence on each floor of ToFS and/or use Resist Stones. Just need time to think about it, and put it in, most likely next week.

Been planning earring of the ages quest for long time. Might do X number of ranks (undecided) and maybe have it rank up the percentage of chance for Divine Intervention. If I do 1% per rank, then rank 50 would be 50% chance for Divine Intervention to save you upon death, or I could do 1% per 10 ranks, to draw it out more, and make it cost AA per rank just like the RoA. I want to make more items that you can spend AA on instead of just RoA so there would be options.

Oh, and thinking of boss triggers, anyone figure out the Ancient Dragon spawn trigger yet? I learned not to underestimate players, so maybe someone figured it out by now?
