Running T6 now, twice OOM poofed, once with 3 mobs up the other with 1 mob up. waited, waited, waited and he does not respawn.

This happened to me as well... It actually takes me about an hour to clear Anguish, so it's a big let down at the end

Nor should he. They're fair, they honestly wont effect players negatively (my opinion, since they STILL have it 10 times easier than most of us when we started our chars) and its a step in solving some genuine issues on the server.

so... I missed some stuff yesterday and it turns out some cheating bitches where exploiting POF by lvling in a buttload of lvl 46 toons and then bringing in a higher level guy and ROA 1000k him in a few days...


these bitches should be stripped of the ROA at least.... this kind of exploiting has to be dealt with harshly to deter future abuse..


i dont mean to derail this but I was pretty shocked to hear about this....

I saw the RoA going from 600 to 800  the other day and thought wtf...  To me it's not 100% exploit, but at the same time it's definitely not how things are intended to work. 

If you were the one casting the mask buff, farmed the experience to level it legitimately, and then this change was announced you could definitely consider it a nerf. Can you answer yes to each of those if they were asked in question form?  The exp rate relative to lower tiers of progression is already well ahead of normal zone exp and there's nothing outside of the 2kish aa's that you need to advance through the lower tiers.  RoA and experience masks are AA dumps to work on after you've gotten your toon aa's finished, it makes sense that you can start benefitting from them at that point in progression.  The exp mask has gone a long way toward trivialing lower level content already and the change has been long overdue, the item didn't even exist until what, T9?  Only T10 has come out since, so it'd be a hard argument to make that mitigating the benefits from it scaled by progression tier somehow limits anyone's ability to progress.

Well, that's your opinion, and I have mine, I'll just leave it at that...

The RoA changes are okay, I'm not against those.  I'm against EXP buffs getting nerfed.  Especially past T5... I just don't see the need for that to happen

I disagree with lvl 1-69 not getting any exp buff.
I also disagree with how you have it staged.  I think anyone should be able to get any level exp buff after level 74.
If you can make it through T5 you shouldn't face any additional nerfs...

End of the day it's my fault for hitting trade... however I wish there was a 5 second timer that held items in escrow...

What happened was workiing was advertising that he was offering 237m for 30 GMajors... I had them, it will also be months before I could use them... I thought sure... that's a great investment...

I find Workiing in the nexus, he's a lizard with a 2hUW... I think to myself, getting an UW isn't easy, he must of had a lot of help(he is blue to me), I put the items in the trade window... see a shitload of coins go in, hit trade... as I hit trade I realize it was coppper he put in there... it's late, my math isn't great... I didn't worry... take it to the banker to exchange it... it was only 287k plat... that's when I knew I'd been scammed, and the workiing was lower then whale shit on the bottom of the ocean...

I'm not a noob, I've been playing EQ since 99, I know all the scams... I think the problem was that I just trust everyone on this server so much I let my guard down....

I had a hotkey setup that invokes a macro quest looting plugin.  This helps me sort through corpses to either leave or loot items(I don't have many things set to destroy because I to am worried about destroying my precious items lol)
I was under the impression this is okay because I press my loot key for every corpse I have.  I had asked a while back in OOC, but I guess that's the same as asking for legal advice at the bar...

My hotkey is pretty simple, it only targets the closest corpse then loots it... the plugin decides what stays and what gets put into inventory. 

This has saved me a ton of time in the lower tiers where gems and armor can drop from almost any mob...

Is this okay to continue doing?
