For the people who have t10 armor there seems to be alot less risk involved. For those new to t10.. Its feels rediculous.
This confused me. I just meant that the people who have already fought through the horrible first iteration of t10 and have their orc armor will not suffer like the people new to the rereleased t10. Its still plenty hard.

For the people who have t10 armor there seems to be alot less risk involved. For those new to t10.. Its feels rediculous.
Tier 9 to tier 10 is the biggest jump of all the tiers. Zoning in i picked orcs and continuously got pounded. Some mobs can kill me in 2 hits with full buffs. And most pulls are 3 to 7 mobs.
I play with 2 paladins in main group and a druid shaman and cleric chain healing my melee grp. This gets me through most small pulls.
T10 is not a zone for a single group unless youve worked multiple uws and gotten your ucs to v3.
Not complaining because i like the challenge. Its just rough with my 2 grps of max strikes and uc2.

More weapons of anykind that accept ultimate augs would be awesome. id love the possibility of random special weapons dropping in regular zones that would let me use my berries on something other than sls..
Then theres a choice between utility ae damage or direct damage and it would increase the use of expeditions.

Uc is not a requirement. Except for maybe t10 which from all the posts is a broken zone.. I havent been there yet.
I did just fine with uc1 on my single group up through starting t9.
Was it slower? Yes. Was it horrible no. Now that im in t9 with all my toons it really isnt an issue. Progress your main group as far as you can take them before farming current tier stuff for upgrades on uc and uw. The next tiers armor and weapons makes the last tier almost trivial.
Pull till you kill your group a few times.. It lets you know what you can and cant handle. The more mobs the merrier.

Pretty much none of that will work unless you can scale based on equipment levels with levels assiciated to uw ranks, earrings, shields, ect.. When teams of people like rymo who have a full team of uw weapons and max earings uc3 shields ect do a set encounter they will either die to mechanics based on too much dps or demolish it within a few swings.
Maybe force a debuff on zonein that sets you at a certain stat level. Even the tables between toons for t11. With the primary goal being completion of the tier.
And wouldnt that require people to complete t10?

Is there a minimum participation level for the zone or will i have to look for lower leveled or multiple equal leveled parners so that i can be more efficient.
Chains start at ct? Even as a t9 average level. That seems odd. Are the bosses that spawn leveled to avg level or their tier level?

T1-4 is where its at for essences. Double roll on bosses and double tokens from trash so approx 4x faster than doing it on non double loot days.
Ill most likely be putting all my toons in UCv2s. Hoping to do 1 full one in 2 hours by mass creating instances and boss hopping. Anguish only costs 350k a pop should make that up quickly in drops.
Will double loot increase spawn rates.. Are these on the same type of roll that loot would be on? Increased spawns of tserrina and svart? With double masters for svart..

I remember reading a post from kruciel about mistress of flame pets for the non tank melees for added damage.
How rare / time consuming is this pet to get for my non tank melees. Seeing as pets are a once a year thing should this be a primary goal Or is this pet inferior to the IG because of damage mitigation.

So this is my first halloween event.. After getting my toons the needed pets i was wondering what the best use of my double loot / halloween time would be.
I am currently flagged for t9 on 18 toons and believe these are my best options.
1. Complete a few UCv2 on primary group members. 2. Camp out in tofs floor 7 with a few instances and try to get svart spawns (currently have uw7 with materials to make uw8) 3. Backfarm essences for a 2nd uw.
I figured progression in a faction based zone wouldnt be the best use of time or resources. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks for the reply chunka. Was hoping that it could be fixed somehow. Ill work on more testing but it seems there are other issues at play.
I mean id trade damage for consistency if it were even possible. Like 90 to 100 percent uptime for a damage reduction.
But from what you said maybe i need to try and figure out if theres another way this can work. Put instant casts first in the rotation before the pet is sent in. See if that helps the initial proc rate any. I currently send in pets and melees with my backstab flying kick bash spell casts button

Casting is not the issue. i tie all my attacks into 2 buttons one for ae and one for single target damage. The problem i have with the neck is it not proccing consistently. I can go from 2 to 3 casts for a proc to 20 casts. If melee strikes worked that way there would be issues.
Chain casting should be able to keep the first mate buff on your pet until every mob is dead. Atm this is not the case.
I like the casters through t8 so far but they are a much worse choice than a melee is at the moment for a progressing group. Squishier, less damage, higher upgrade costs, relies not only armor drops but spell drops aswell. Imo This cuts your initial dps options in half.
