I had to stop playing bc everytime i'd die my characters would lock up and freeze. So that would be every pull.. at least 1 toon splat. 3 mins to log in. 5 to rez. 2 to pull, splat. Rince repeat.

I got my samsung EVO 850 over 3 months ago. I've several random blue screen of deaths since install. It's setup as a secondary. Makes no sense. had no crashes like this prior to the drive.

That's because of the constant reboots and dynamic ID's assigned to servers. If they were static it would be worth it's weight in gold.

What i do is login main toon w/no mq2, get the server ID and put it above... then just click the shortcuts w/the username per toon... ie:
"C:\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme /login:accountusername"
Name that shortcut wizard, or account name...

then make 1 for each toon/account

then make a .bat file and copy this.. make one line for each account, and at the very end, put the "Stop"

So when u want to boot ur team, click the bat file and it will do it all.

Oh yea you can buy pets from points. I think every named mob is worth x value. I can't remember specifics atm. I think it's like halloween candy as an alternative currency.

The event is one zone now and the level is based on your group average.

Just start killing and the mobs will pop on death. Additionally it appears from my experience the more you pull the better chance you have at spawning a higher tiered monster. If you spawn a bunch of cazics cuz your pull isn't that great, don't worry they can still spawn up the chain on death.

Some people will try to take advantage of you early on, by selling the higher end pets for alot of plat. Some people will just randomly shout rotting loots. It's hit or miss. Not that anything is wrong with selling the pets so don't derail thread on that note please.

Akka, I think last year there were random UW drops for a limited time, will that be the case again this year?

What about adding back the strike augs V's that dropped in previous years? Or the septre of time drops?

Could take the triggers out completely. Make current T10 a faction zone only. Once you reach an ally faction level you are flagged for a gear zone. That zone would be a dungeon crawl like Frostcrypt or soltaris style zone. The gear zone would be instanced allowable and drop the essences as well. Then after you are fully geared, you become flagged for an epic encounter similar to what 3.0 is. Single boss, various stage encounter resulting in epic material for your upgrade.

Would keep T10 an open non instanced zone with grouping if needed and allow those who have done the work enjoy a raid-able style zone. Not a tank / spank encounters. Off tanking, % balance mobs, etc. 

Just a thought, why not just find a nice laptop or desktop that you can run a group of 6 off of and having them connect to your eqbc? That would alleviate the load on your computer and cost it would take for you to upgrade "certain" parts, you could get a nice computer off of ebay or craigslist.

I stopped here because of T10 - Leveling up alts with RoA (fine) but SoA was ridiculous and didn't guarantee AOE Rampage. I still point to the date Hunter removed it, and did so for a reason.

If T10 was broken into different Zones, it might entice me but that AOE rampage is for the super elite that have no kids with soccer practice year round.

that the moveutils settings pop up and they don't respond to the command. What did I miss?

Also try to download the correct directX 9.0C or w/e this requires. I believe there is a folder on that download with the correct files you need to install. No matter what I do I can't get my toons to stop crashing which lead to me not playing.. fkn fk.
