Still learning this macro stuff, do I take the file and just put it and save in the EQ folder or does it have to be put in a specific sub folder?

Save it inside the Macros folder located in your MQ2 install directory. ex. C:\MQ2\Macros\

Any/all errors should be fixed btw. As a sidenote, it's important that items aren't listed twice; it can cause issues.

Good morning - I don't think the character mover is working on the magelo page or in-game. I've tried moving a few different toons but only getting the error "redacted / Enchantay / nexus - Login or character name was not correct"

Also, would you mind moving Enchantay when you get a min? Thanks Smiley

It's literally the first line for floor 1 of ToFS in the wiki...use levitate.

Correct-a-mundo smarty pants. What we're saying is you couldn't cast levi while in ToFS previously. Too many times I'd deep sigh and port the whole crew back to nexus, levi, then back in.

Got a couple misc. items I've noticed, nothing major:

  • ToFS now allows casting of lev while in the zone. Previously you would need to obtain lev before entering. Not sure if bug, or "feature".
  • The leaderboard does not seem to be updating. No idea when it stopped or for how long this has occurred.
  • The following 4 items are set to "Recast Type: 0" which I believe is what's making them share a cooldown timer.

    • Idol of the Jailed (ID:50110)
    • Draca's Sigil of Stability Rank I (ID:135229)

The Summon Newbie Merchant reward item bought with EZ credits, does not function. You can't sell your stuff to him and he has nothing to sell.

I just tested this and it's working fine for me. Had alts utilize the summoned merchant as well without any trouble. Are you possibly at plat cap?

Crafter's Guild - Working as intended:
  • UW exchange for different types
  • Experience Mask upgrades

Crafter's Guild - Problem(s) found:
  • 100 Essence Tasks 1-6 work as intended both manually and via bulk turn-in options IF you do not have a max number of tasks. One of my toons had the max number of tasks due to armor turn-in tasks from SR. When I deleted several assigned tasks and attempted to gain the QVIC essence task, it would not work. Clicking the link would do nothing. Tried zoning in/out, camping, etc didn't make a difference.

Hohonora - Working as intended:
  • Shadow spawns after 30 minutes
  • Warps around like he should when attacked.

Airplane - Working as intended:
  • All t3 and t4 tokens summon correct mobs with correct loot tables.
  • Attempting to summon 2 mobs results in message and token destroyed as intended.

Sunderock - Working as intended:
  • As someone that's been grinding SR for almost 2 months (the ptsd is still fresh), combat seems fine. ZP is still hairy
  • Fortune Cookies and all single-use clickies (both scrolls and food items) work
  • Loot table appears normal after 5 ZPs.
  • Orc Weaponry turn-ins working. Hands item back if wrong weapon given as expected.
  • Stolen loot quest worked with both stolen loot items counting as 1 and Immaculate shards as 15.
  • Obtained Epic 10 aug
  • Leveled to 79
  • Mythical Hammer quest working
  • Undead spawn as intended at 9pm and 11pm, then despawn at 6am.

Sunderock - Problem(s) found:
  • Manually pulled 40+ mobs, then clicked Succor reward item; "Memories do not fade here" message appears as intended but hate list gets cleared. I tried this after clicking ZP spear and hate list was still cleared. Stood there for a few min in case XTarget window was maybe just bugged but seems hate list was properly cleared.

Sleeper - Problem(s) found:
  • Level 78 toons cannot enter public sleeper via Teleporter but CAN enter sleeper instance without getting booted.
  • Level 79 can enter via teleporter or instance without any UA without getting booted
  • Level 78 without UA, 79 without UA can enter instance of sleeper without getting booted
  • Well after further testing, currently have a nekkid lvl 1 toon standing in Sleeper guild instance without getting kicked

General items - Working as intended:
  • Combine 10 GLS to create SLS
  • Summon and interact with banker
  • Summon and interact with teleporter
  • Summon and interact with donation merchant. Able to buy/sell items as intended.
  • Server commands #help, #viewchangelog, #claim, #stats, hp, #donate and clicking link in popup, #zones, #forums, #EZGuide, #EZWiki, #magelo, #charmove, #corpsefix
  • Creating double/triple instances working, proper number of items deducted. Alts cannot enter these instances until I open them up as should be the case.
  • Repopping instance with free WP donation item works properly, no plat cost. Repopping without deducts plat as intended.
  • Guild invite and accept works.
  • Newly created toons receive all relevant items (ie: 1.0, Noobie v1, Book of Complete Healing, etc

General items - Problems found:
  • #rules command reports "Your status is not high enough to use this command."
  • #character_move doesn't appear to do anything but #charmove pops up so not sure if this matters
  • Crunchy 'Pie' (Halloween Event), Questionable 'Feast' (Halloween Event), and Group Vitality (Halloween Item) all work/buff you with HW event obviously turned off.

Hey, wanted to share a few hotkeys for anyone else grinding out the faction quests in T10. If the toon has that killquest, they'll report via rsay how many kills they have.

Simply copy/paste the 3 sections below (I have each section in their own hotkey but you can do as you like). This can easily be added to your HUD as well but I just check via hotkey once in a while.

EDIT: turboLoot v18 has been released.

Attached is a mac I made and has been collectively made better by others on EZ.

Code:
 
1. New lootSpells var: If set to 1, will loot any spells it comes across IF usable by you AND not already scribed AND spell not found in your inv or bank.
2. 2 vars for setting how you want to communicate announcements (start looting, items found, etc) and looting.
3. corpseDistance variable for setting a loot radius.
4. When each toon finishes looting, will move them a random small amount so they're not in the way of other toons looting.
5. Cleaned up the documentation and coding a bit. Hopefully a little easier to understand. Plan on cleaning it further soon-ish.
6. Going to start updating the version # so people can easily tell if they're on an earlier iteration or not.

I currently run 2 copies of the macro; one for my main and one for alts. There are several ways to use different copies while not needing to change your hotkey in-game. One suggestion is to make subfolders for each progression zone and run the macro as

You could also create a copy for each toon and have them each run their own. I use this method for working on UCv1 since some alts have different LVL 50 charms and I don't want them looting 25 v1s or 2s unnecessarily. Easiest way to do that would be a hotkey setup like this:

Aaaand here's a loot macro I created.

Turboloot_oldcommons - I made this mac with 4 different variables you can easily change.
  lootALL == Anytime you come across this item, loot it regardless of how many, unless it's Lore.
  someItems == loot X number of this item, then skip the rest. Combines whatever you have in bank and in inventory.
  singleItems == loot 1 of this item, then skip any others found. Combines whatever in bank + in inventory.
  minLootValue == If an item is not in any list above, is not No Drop, and has a merchant value >= X amount, loot it. Good for plat bags, etc.

IMPORTANT: This macro will also check to see if an item is usable by your class/race. If equippable and you don't currently have one, it will loot the item even if isn't listed in any of the vars above.

I suggest replacing "oldcommons" in the filename with whatever zone you're using it for and then make a hotkey for /mac turboloot_${Zone.ShortName}

edit: You could also do something like a folder for each zone, then a turboloot_charname. Then create a hotkey with
