Shamans get a dot focus spell (similar to the healing focus spell) at level 1. I too found it odd that necros do not, since that's such a significant portion of their damage output (read "all their damage output").

I have one remark to make here. Yes, I downloaded SoD (did a google search for everquest SoD torrent and found one). However, I still sleep well at night being that I own two full licenses to the SoD client on live (and one of those accounts is up through Underfoot).

It's not my problem that Sony didn't publish a disc copy. Other than Blizzard's forced usage of BitTorrent to download their own updates, this is the first time I've actually used a torrent client to get anything. To each his own I suppose.
