Which Clients are people using? Titanium? SoF? SoD?
I use SOD and have noticed it crashes my paladin in LDON when I use his clicky. I am not sure of other zones cause I have not crashed in any those yet while using his epic. This crash doesn't crash the whole zone it only crashes your client, it will show on the latency meter as 100% connected then gradually go down to 0 connection. So my boxes stay in zone if they are with me, this happens only in LDON I noticed on paladin clicky and it happens with 2hander or the 2hander and noticed it started for me with 2.5 epic up to 3.0. Also I noticed the crash happens in LDON when you have 5 to 10 mobs on you, if you use clicky like I said it lags you down to 0 connection, you just sit at screen frozen after like 10seconds after you used the clicky and are killing 5-10 mobs.

Regarding SoD client, I have now dl'd 4 diff times from links given to me or from isohunt etc. I dl the ezserver spell files, I change my port setting to read 5999, i change my directory to the new folder and subfolder for SoD.... and everytime I hit the server select page it says "I own o of 25 expansions, and I have no servers at all up to select. This has happened to me everytime with Sod, can anyone help inform me what I am doing wrong. I am not sitting through another 5hr download of 6.3 gig of data, only to have it tell me no servers exist.
And so you know there is nothing wrong with my client or pc, I can go into my emu launcher and select titanium again, its folder, set port to 5998, say yes to patch eqhost.txt, and be playing again in 1min.
Id really like to use SoD, but ive now wasted 20+ hrs trying to get it running with no luck at all. HELP !!!!!!

Did you setup SOD so it can run? If not here is the guide to how get to work. taken from Eqemu forums for getting SOD to work. This was what I had to do awhile back for SOD to work. Do this to get in before doing the step below http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=GetTitAnother useful link for setup on left side Wiki and getting started and where you setup your user accounts. http://eqemulator.org/You need to get your login information set on this login server. To do so, you need to log in to "ProjectEQ: The Grand Creation" or "Storm Haven" via the eqemulator.org login server and use the #setlsinfo command. The #setlsinfo command expects two values, your email address and your password. This will update the alternate login server so you can log in via it. Once that has been done, you can set your eqhost.txt to either www.tsahosting.net:5998 (Titanium and SoF) or www.tsahosting.net:5999 (SoD). Once your done with the top sectionc hange your eqhost again to reflect the changes below. [LoginServer] Host=eqemulator.net:5999 MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO SPACES AFTER THE END NUMBER 5999 IF YOU DO HAVE SPACES BACKSPACE SO THE CURSOR IS RIGHT AT THE END OF THE 5999 IF you do not do this then it can give you the error of empty server list or unable to connect. Post if you need a solid complete walk through of install for SOD to work correctly.

well according to the server specs we are using 6GB DDR3 memory... I'd suggest maybe plugging in the other 6Slots with another 6GB of ram, also we are using 2 Drives (possibly need to expand this to 4-6 drives or more in a raid 10 configuration... this would enahance read/write capability as well as memory... I sent hunter a PM with the suggestions, We shall see what his responce is...
HD's in raid really doesn't do anything in terms of SERVER performance for EQemu or any other Emu type game. Server dependency comes from CPU power, while more cores will run better the best solution for a top server box would be quad core server CPU's and decent ram which is what Hunter has. So the server box configuration is right and good. No need for additional raid config or more ram! Another thing for a good server is bandwidth and hes got that covered also. Latency is low and speeds are super fast. I would say lag might be an issue from either someone doing something illegal where the server is receiving to many requests for information, perhaps hacking or something. Or some code is slightly off where it creates a performance issue. But I guarantee it is not his server specs. Overall best server I ever played on and super ridiculous up times with this many people online is awesome. The only thing I can think of now to improve this would be to get the already written script for auto reboot of the server once it goes offline anytime of the day. This script checks connection and if it sees it is not online it will auto reboot the server as soon as it goes offline, usually within 5 to 10 minutes.

Hi , A little late on posting it i think ( Just got in from work and never have time to do anything ;( ) . Was fun to say the least.. If he makes an exception for you he will need to let everyone else in to get their videos up. And I know like 8 people who would up a video if this happened which would be unfair for everyone else in this post who uploaded it before his deadline.

Hello people I was wondering about epic weapons for those classes using one hand and two hand. As I see it right now the classes who can use two one handers have an advantage on more health, stats, and hit point regen. So my thoughts are possibly make paladin, shaman, mage, wizard, and clerics one hand epics have double the hit point regen and hit points and mana to fall in balance with classes who can gain additional through dual wield using two one hand. Also bring the two hand in line would be a nice idea. Think about it, it makes sense that a class who can only use one hand weapon have same stats and regen and health or mana as classes who can dual wield two epics. Would this be a good change or no. It definitely is a fair change if it can be done. PS: Thanks for the best EQ server in the entire world. Tan, I don't think it would be 'fair' as you put it. As a ranger, I had to do the entire epic quest 3 times to get the weapons/stats I have. Duel wielders have to do it twice. If you were to be rewarded with double stats and not have to do the work for it, I'm sure a lot of people would complain. Would it be good? Hell yes it would! I'd love to see my pally have double the stats on his weapon! To me this makes no sense because you have the ability to obtain dual wield epics and some classes can not. Thus you make the stats on their one handed epics equal to dual wield epics. It is fair. The way you put it it is like you do not have a choice of doing your epics. Everyone will do their epics, there is not one person who will not get another epic for their dual wield. You see what I mean? So how is it unfair to those players who can only do one epic only to have equal stats to those players who get dual wield epics? So you have to do your epic twice who cares it is easy. So the classes who do not dual wield don't deserve to be balanced just because they only have to do epic once? That makes no sense man, come on.

I'm full of them today I guess Two new ideas that might come in great use for the community since I noticed this one is pretty much a hot one for almost everyone. Epic models on some weapons are really strange and gawd awful. Monks have these ugly clubs for 3.0 and had sticks for lesser epic. Monk using clubs for hand to hand weapon? Link to ornaments, click the through list to see screens of each ornament. https://help.freerealms.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22299/~/%5Beq%5D-marketplace---ornamentationsThat is an example of one epic that can change but instead of a new model can you maybe introduce Ornament augs into the game, the ones from SOD are very very very very nice looking! I hope these are already built into the Eqemulator client for SOD if so this would work right? Next idea I had was with off-hand and range slot areas. I think it would be nice for epic quests long ones that are fun to get a new epic for off-hand or range slot. This would give us more stuff to do. We need some more content I think.
