The first days of T6 being released <RAGE> used an enchanter to pull. (or so they said.)

So I guess something was useful for them in there.

I bought a laptop for $500 from Office Depot and I have absolutely no troubles running 6.. Have gotten 8 in before, but haven't gone over that, and I have had no problems. (The laptop screen is ~19" so arguably that is where a good chunk of my money went and it still runs very well.)

Can buy a desktop nowadays from Best Buy for dirt cheap. Nice processor, 1 terrabyte hard drive and like 6 gigs of ram or something for around $500, maybe cheaper. Pukagiz just recently bought a new desktop, he could probably fill you in on some prices and what not.

As Hunter said, computer parts are so disposable anymore it doesn't cost a lot to get a machine up and running for multi-box EQ.

I do mine pretty slow, I guess, but since I don't suffer crashes it doesn't seem so bad to me. I load mine in one by one. Load in the main on my "main" version of EQ, then when he is totally in I load in all of my boxes from my "box" version of EQ 1 by 1.. Takes a little longer this way, probably, but I don't mind it, really.

I run pal/cleric and it's enough. 3 pals should be over-heal. I would recommend a cleric over one of the paladins for the simple fact that divine intervention and the instant group heal comes in handy, and 3.5+ is a hammer so they proc group heals, too. 

Suggesting lower priced instances gives me an idea of how new you are to the server, either that or you really think Hubter would lower them again? I remember when I'd buy a GI for 100K...

Augs are meant to be tough to attain because they add so much. If you had chars in T3 with full strike Augs then they'd destroy the content so fast. (it's still possible to do that with how things are now, I'm just suggesting that making it much easier would be a gamebreaker in my eyes.)

2 tanks help later in the game. Can't really do MCP without two tanks, for example, (although one of your pallies could be made an offtank.)

With one group of my own toons I can do what 3 groups of bots can do. Bots do not work very well at all when compared to boxed toons.

And most of the people who box already would not give up their boxed toons to make crappy bots.... So it would be counter-intuitive, really... The newer players to the server or the very few who do not box may like this idea, but I doubt the majority of the server would. (not that I can speak for all of them.)

Haven't read any posts above this one, but coming in to report that on HoT (UF client), I have no loot lag except on the named mobs in LDoN. Any other mob I loot pops up instantly with whatever it has on the corpse and I have no problems looting.

Don't have problems looting in any other zone, either.

SLS/CG and FG kits are nice, but I farm Velks. You make quite a bit of cash per hour. Just go into the castle and pull all the mobs in it and around it.

Clerics with their insta cast group heals and DI and all that junk make them the best healer. You get procs AND an "oh sh**!" heal when procs are being stupid.

Bards fix the endurance drain. Hate's Bard kept me at 100%.
