I never use a launcher. i only play on EZ server so i just check the website every day for a new spell file.

make a shortcut of eqgame.exe on your desktop. right click the shortcut, go to properties, in the "Target" box type patchme at the end of whatever is there if you are on a single core computer. if you are using a multiple core computer replace everything in the "Target" box with the following line:

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme

I downloaded teamspeak for iphone and it seems to be working great. I don't have a headset any more, so this is an awesome alternative.

This is a great change and seems to be working very well.

Personally, it is actually a lot easier than that. All I have to do is load up CoD MW3 and play a match. My girlfriend is straight addicted to MW3, so she will instantly want to play.... for hours.... BAM window of time for double loots, AND if she gets upset at any point, I just say "Baby, you took MW3 away from me" instantly turning it around on her. hahaha

Tell your GF/wife you are bidding on something for her on ebay. she is not allowed to know what it is, so she has to stay OUT of the computer room for the next 6 hours. (time left on item) Though, there will be no surprise from ebay, you can always toss out the classic "someone outbid me at the last split second baby!" lol BAM you got a window of time for double loots AND you look like a sweetheart! win win win!

Yessir. I think it may be limited in ways. I used to use Sandboxie, until upgrading windows 7. Now if I need to use application isolation, I use the winxp VM from microsoft.

This is actually pretty interesting. I have messed around with AX-Classic, and ran a server on and off EQEmu, but never thought about trying it in a VM.
I have never had a virus find it's way out of VM, but that definitely does not mean it is impossible. VM is pretty much self-contained. I have had no problem running an EQEmu server on windows 7, but the compatibility with the particular versions of programs needed is much better with windows XP. Virtual Machines are great for testing. I used to open VM to test files I downloaded from p2p. If you get a virus. Close VM then reopen. Viola! Everything back  to perfect.

I am able to log in now. Guess it was just a matter of time.

My apologies. I am just glad it isn't only me that can't connect. At least i know it is probably not a problem on my end.

Last night I was playing fine and had no problems logging in.. today I tried to log in and keep getting booted back to username password screen. Anyone else have a fix for this?
