Reign your guild, before I just put up full time fraps and follow you all around..

Hey maybe you should do that.  Then you might, i dunno, have an actual proof that these guys are cheats.

Until then, it just looks like you veterans are out busy stroking your e-peen because it doesn't happen IRL.

At least SOMEONE here isn't totally off their rocker.

I'm not saying it was Fugitive's responsibility to tell Dupise not to loot. As I said, "That's not cool. He should have asked first, especially since you were bugged by it." I was just wondering if he DID ask him not to loot or if he decided to come straight to the forums and start Bashing on <FM> immediately rather than solving the problem one on one with the person.

I don't condone what Dupise was doing, but simply letting someone know that "hey, what you're doing right now isn't O.K." can defuse most problems before they become problems.

Now we can go around and say it does not matter what people think of me, especially in a game. But, in the end, it does. I fail to see why people don't understand that reputation is the best piece of armor you can get in everquest.

I fail to see a) how "in the end" any kind of reputation you're talking about could possibly matter and b) what I could possibly require this "armor" to ward against. However, please show me the error in my beliefs. I'm all ears.

That's not cool. He should have asked first, especially since you were bugged by it. Did you try bringing it to his attention that checking corpses was not O.K. with you?

Usually if a guild supports one person warping with screen shots showing that a warp took place then the whole guild is just as retarded as the warper.

Fear Mongers is in no way supporting someone who is warping. If it's proven, then I'll be the first to denounce him for doing so.

Xiggie, the day you accept that majority opinion dictates truth is the day you give up any resemblance of a moral code to the random misgivings of uneducated, easily malleable masses. You go right ahead and do so if that suits your fancy but I will gladly let the majority opinion have no bearing on my understanding of truth, fact, and guilt.

Now...boys and girls...we don't need to revisit this issue. Remember what Hunter said: "I haven't read all 4 pages but basically let me know in email / post if you have solid video with date/time etc, otherwise no drama please."

So salvashun warped and is guilded with fear mongers but fear mongers didnt do anything about the warp?

Salvashun's guilt has not been proven one way or the other. Until that happens, there's no reason to kick someone for simple accusations.

Time to drop this issue and stop talking shit, kids! Someone with either compromised morals or some reason to actually CARE what the hell these two think sell them some SLSs already and let's move on.

I have been playing on this server for over 2 years. You coming here with your little bitty 'oh you guys are asshats apologize' is not going to do anything to my reputation. I think I am very safe to say that my reputation is quite good. But if a few douche bags think I am an asshat, well... that's one of the benefits of having a good reputation. So in short, suck it fatty.

Yes, it is about fear mongers warping and other general douche baggery.

To be honest I really don't care about you or your reputation, Xiggie. Like I said, get on with the game. Enough of this petty BS.

And to be more precise, it's about the comments these two made in the thread regarding Salvashun allegedly Warping. Not about the guild itself, or about the accusation, or really about warping at all. Just about how Xiggie and Balthor choose to throw shitstorms where they don't belong in the public forum and how they don't like it when someone stands up against 'em.

Aww... are you guys sad that being asshats finally came back to bite you?

Suck it up and play the game. Apologize to someone if you care about solving the problem. Otherwise cut the crap boys.

I'm not trying to grasp at anything, just trying to provide an alternate explanation.

Fair enough though. I didn't notice the game time (since the 30s was the part that seemed to be incriminating). But you're right. It matches up.

I think Hunter will have to resolve this. He's the only one who can check the validity of the claim against Salvashun with any reliability...he's also the only one who can make a decision about what to do. =P

So, I would like to present something that may constitute reasonable doubt in Salvashun's defense...

Regarding in-game timestamps: typing /time grabs directly from the Windows Computer clock and displays it on your EQ screen. However, this means that if you reset the Windows Computer Clock (which all you have to do is alt + Tab and set it back a min or two or 30) then the timestamp will reflect the NEW time...Thus it's possible to make it appear that virtually no time has gone by with a time stamp when in fact it's been hours, days, years...whatever.

Try this yourself and see.

Now I don't know whether Salva is warping (having known him for a long time now I'd be VERY surprised to learn that he is) but some MQ2 map screenshots and a couple of timestamps aren't necessarily enough to prove it.
