When I need a break from fear and Dulak, and I want loot too (not pofire) I go to these places:

Chardok
Karnor's castle
Old Sebilis
crypt of decay (need good gear)

Hopefully you find something that suits you :-)

Just a hint for fearplane. For less adds, stay to the southern areas of the zone and avoid the buildings. It seems the more North you go the "friendlier" the mobs are.

Funny my fondest memories of EQ were being thrown into a world where I knew nothing and everything was a mystery.

I started just after Kunark. My tutorial was, you have been slain by a rat...loading please wait. From there I was popped to the paly guild in North Kaladim. It took me about an hour to find my way outside again.

I remember meeting Corflunk for the first time at level 6 and later Dorn B'Dinn. A tutorial will not prepare you for these things anyway.

To know when any weapon procs you can usually scroll down to the spell effect and it will tell you.

Sk is level 1
Paly is level 10

Many classes are 50 ish.

They don't all start at the same time. When you are high enough level your weaps will proc.

He does drop it. On live it drops often (if not 100%). Here it drops considerably less often. It will drop eventually, and it will add to keyring when you use it.

The key for the elevator drops too, but for the life of me I can not remember who drops it.
