What exactly doe the "fading memories" spell/proc do?

Under options in the general tab the "allow context menus" button was unclicked.  I'm sure at some point i clicked it by accident but since I have no idea what a context menu is I just don't even notice the button.

i figured it out, it was dumb of me to post this without googling it first.  My mistake.  Sorry for wasting anyones time.  Is there anyway to remove this whole thread because its wasted space.

I am having trouble with just a single one of my boxes.  At the moment I am using the default UI, I haven't changed anything but move windows around on each box.  They are all loading from the same client but for some reason my 1 paladin is unable right click a lot of things.  I can right click a spell gem to erase a spell but I can't bring up the list of spells to mem.  I can't right click my spellbook to load and save spell sets.  I can't right click a window to change it how transparent it is.  I have no idea why, so I just downloaded sars to see if a new UI would correct it.  It didn't.  Anyone have a clue whats going on with my pally?

updating this thread.  I have dropped the necro and cleric in favor of a shaman and zerker.  I still have the cleric and also have a bard, both waiting to see if i'll need them to swap out.  I kind of just want to run 6, not 12 or 18 or whatever.  So my questions before I go UCing all these guys is can a group consisting of a war/pal/pal/shm/ber/mnk do T5 well?  I have UC on war, i am working on UC on pal and monk now, and aiming at 41 sorc on zerker and 41 oracle on 2nd pal, not sure on shaman.

Is this an optimal setup or should I rework this group?  What should I swap out and why aside from personal preference.   Also should I just aim to UC zerker and 2nd pal before tackling T5 to avoid rezzing every pull and what in that world should I do with shaman charm.  I feel like I might be micro managing a bit but I have limited time to play between work and kids so I just want to be as efficient as i can.  Sorry for the wall of questions but any advice is appreciated as long as you elaborate a little as to why.

Whats a good charm for a shaman?  I'd assume oracle for heals but does guardian work with buff duration?  will a level 1 guardian make it so  the kraken line isn't so short and have to be recast constantly?

Is twist an allowed plugin?  I am under the impression it is not because I have only seen Hunter list specific plugins allowed without much ambiguity.  However I have read a few threads on this forum about using it and no where in the threads did anyone chime in saying it wasn't allowed.  So can someone please enlighten me?  Or can someone in the know list any allowed plugins that aren't stick and map?  I'd assume things like dps parsers are allowed and things of that nature.

upon further investigation I don't have kraken, I have puma.  I could have swore I picked up that spell before.  Maybe Kraken lands but all the others before it in that spell line need to be grouped for?

Perhaps a dumb question but is there a way to make it so I can cast buffs from the kraken line without being grouped?  I'd like to have my shaman outside my group or when leveling alts so i don't need to keep switching him in and out every 2 minutes.  I understand the /tgb on however the kraken spells tell me I must be grouped.

I made my shammy years ago just for the 4.0 buff and kraken so I never really thought of using him as healer til recently.  What heal do you use for a shaman and where do I get it?

I am making a 6 man group and I just wanted some insight on whether I picked to right classes and which classes I should prioritize.  My main is a warrior, 4.0 with UC, then I have 2 paladins, cleric, necro, monk and I have a 4.0 shaman I was gonna drag along to buff.  Is this a good set up?  Overkill on heals?  too low on DPS?  Should shaman replace someone in the groups?  Also who should I UC second/third/fourth/etc.  Thank you.

Ok thank you for the quick response.  Remaking the cleric I guess, he wasn't that far, just had most of his armor up to t2 and cg quest done.  So it's not too bad just annoying but I fully understand the situation it puts you in hunter.  Thank you for the great place to play, I plan to be here a long time.

Is there any way to transfer characters from one login to another?  I just started playing again after a few years and on one of my accounts I have a shaman and a cleric and I am not sure what my thinking was.  If it is possible, what is the protocol?

I had something similar happen where I could get to the character selection screen but it wouldn't go futher and boot me from there.  I rebooted my computer and modem and nothing, didn't think to reboot router and after rebooting the router it was fine.  lerxst is right, i hope it gets up and running again for you, glad to see you back and congrats.

Ugh..Qvic plate legs farm, I am sorry for your loss

Every time i'm gearing a non-plate char in qvic I get 3-5 of those, so I don't really see the problem there

Must have terrific luck.  I am trying to gear a cleric in qvic now, finished my 15th full clear last night and havent seen a single plate BP or legs, geared up a shaman at the same time and only say 1 chain BP in those 15 clears.  Haven't seen any plate BPs for sale over the weekend either  

I am actually at 22 full clears as well as running around pub killing any boss I see up, probably about 40ish, as well as auctioning that I am buying a qvic plate BP and still nothing, not a single bite.  I am starting to believe they don't even drop anymore.  I feel like I just flipped a coin 50 times, got tails each time and am still trying to convince myself theres a head on the coin
