Haven't been able to login yet due to our internet being craptastic but uh...<3<3<3<3 in advance

T10 was built to still be a challenge for those who had spent years in T9. That means that it was tuned to be a challenge for those with every optional upgrade. Max stonewall, multiple ultimate weapons, and multiple groups for max dps/buffs. The stonewall nerf was also already being planned when he was setting up t10. T10 wasn't setup to be something you could break into once you had finished up your T9 armor. I don't know if Akka wants to change how its setup, but as it stands now you might end up needing to take the time to grab those optional upgrades.

  While i do agree with the bit about T10 being tuned for difficulty concerning people who had been farming t9/SoA/UW/EoA etc for damn near ever, and that you shouldnt just be able to waltz in there upon getting flagged from t9 the idea that something you basically NEED to do it having a literal TIME limit on it sucks.  UWs?  Can knock em out as quick as you can farm essences if you have a lot of time to play.  Same thing for anything else in that list.  I don't think a t10 nerf is necessary or even a remotely good idea.  But the idea of having everything else ready to go and that extra 11% dmg mit holding you back from progressing..meh.  "WELP Im ready to go...in 5..6..7..8 whatever more months".

I'm all for it, but there's going to be a lot of push-back from the folks that took off work all week specifically for the halloween event.  I can almost say for certain that it won't be postponed due to that fact.

 For me, as it stands, I'm not even going to be able to play the first couple days as I'm going to be out of town working.  I'm not fortunate enough to be able to take time off just to play a game, lol( ).

I totally get this.. as I am one of the people who took a bit of extra time off to play.  But at the same time, if those extra days are filled with nothing but frustration because I get on yet get nothing accomplished because of said issues i'd rather just kick back and enjoy my days off and deal with work+halloween later on when i'll actually be able to get more done : P

Alright, grab the torches and pitchforks guys.  So Hate and Akka have been doing some scrambling trying to get the server a hefty dose of act right before Halloween goes live so they don't have to listen to everyone cry throughout the whole event, oh..and because they enjoy giving us an enjoyable experience : P  But I find myself wondering if it would just be easier for all involved to push the event back to sometime next month,say around thanksgiving, which would take some of the pressure off of them to get this stomped out RIGHT NAO.  Aside from the irritation of having to wait longer it really isn't going to hurt anyone for halloween to not happen on halloween.  Just throwing this out there to see what people think.  Not sure if it would even make it to the consideration phase with akka/hate, but it seems like it would be better for all involved.  Good things come to those who wait etc etc.  And if the t10 release muddies up these waters, that could still be done on time and if nothing else disable DL for that zone when halloween event rolls in.  TBH with the lag wrecking everything/everyone as hard as it has been, i can't imagine folks getting much done in the "rape train has no brakes" zone anyways.

Since the server is down anyways...figured I'd let yall know I'm in the market for a NSXI.  Won't make a set offer here, let me know what you need in terms of plat/essences etc. in game.  Plat is my preferred method since i have a monk uw to work on and other augs to make,but meh, we do what we gotta do.  For anyone who doesn't know this is Madasmash.  Hit me up = P

So...for the nobody spends 100% of their time farming sls and buy gear drops argument....i give you breach.  He is completely t9 geared with a crew that didnt get started til after he was in t5....he would literally spend his entire day farming sls...or ct ess once they got stupid expensive.  And no...he didnt even bot.  He spent most of the time that he was farming yapping with me in vent.  So...yea...that shit happens, just ask rent =p

They're not the only ones who think it is dumb...but i reckon FH has more of those legit/illegitimate sls stockpiled from selling the gear to said buyers than anyone else =p

They need to be removed as an income source, plain and simple. We're seeing the market on them all wonky because botters are farming mass quantities of them. We've all seen certain people who I wont name who are pumping out literally hundreds of SLS a day in trades for armor drops, essences, finishing tier quests, etc. Did they get them legitimately? Maybe. But obviously based on what Hate found not all of em are.

Maybe just make SLS no trade, and find another way for lower end players to get cash.

If the way they are farmed is changed..i.e. berry,rng boss drop,task related..etc, the botting issue is solved.  But their removal as a currency is just dumb.  Lowbies being able to sell extra to afford the plat sink part of augs is very useful.  Their value will be dependent on how many people actually go out, kill, and farm them vs. how many sit with thumb up ass whining about price of them in ooc.  The more people who farm..the lower their price will be.

Quick....someone get Jizlords....we need a master coder on this one.
