the only thing being blocked is everquest and im thinking it has to be my router because my city offers a city wide wireless that is terribly slow and i used that to log on and it worked but i can only pick up the signal 1 out of 50 tries and no im not borrowing my service haha and ill look into the access points do i do that through my normal ISP? or what?
Im in need of some help, i recently switched my labtop from a hardline internet to wireless, and am unable to get past the character select screen on any of the servers, i opened all ports on my router and any controlled by my ISP and set up a DMZ and still no evercrack please help any ideas are welcome
well im almost completely computer illiterate haha my buddy set all this up for me then he quit playing and forgot everything, i dont know where/how to run the tests you are saying and im pretty sure im using SoD, also aside from the automatic updates my computer does i havent done any and im using vista
i live in the northern midwest of the US, i have a wireless connection but have never had any problems in the past with it and no i cannot get onto any other servers they all say the same thing i left a message on the EQemu forum as well but no responses there yet
Since about 1 am central time i have been unable to log onto EZ, after i choose my toon and hit enter world the screen turns black and says the server is not responding, anyone have any ideas or tips on a solution?
