I was completely unaware of it as well, despite having been in both La Familia and Origins. Ultimately, what Rent chose to do isn't my concern, but clearly the Guardian Charm was not designed with the intention of it working into later tiers. It's use in later tiers isn't an exploit, but it also isn't intended.

Can we all just cut the bullshit? EVERYONE knew! it was in OOC when ever some new player was asking for advice! Turn a blind eye if you must, but check the logs! how the hell can anyone zonepull T10 without anything else then a warrior... Nobody can say "i didnt know"

Just the sheer number of new people getting fed GSS and what not. if you just took a look at what was mass farmed then you all knew! you can lie about most things, but when the price on things drops like HELL then its a sure sign that something is wrong.

Im all for that things needs to be changed, as we talked about Draca. But things needs to be changed alot more then this. If you can get to endgame within a month and then just say "oh i powergamed" then there is something wrong with the core.

But all of this is just an old guys opinion, and im trying not to point fingers, but dont think anyone didnt know.

And another thing, the items are OP yes... But the game is more or less made for it. if you dont run a million bots at endgame, or have them maxed out with everything, then its hard as hell. Plus the number of items/essence/plat and what ever you need to farm is a SHITTON! doing that without the ability to mass pull without breaks will make it a deadly grind for anyone who works or have a life

On that note. we aren't guaranteed an event. Akka felt that the people earlier this year ruined the spirit of the event and has not wanted to put it back because of it. I'm sure at some point he will either come up with some new event or fully fix the issues that were brought to light earlier this year.

If that is really the reason he did this, then im back at, why the hell did the persons involved just get a light tap on the wrist?! So he wont reward the server a little holiday fun, because a few people are rotten. We all knew this would happen

Something that needs to be remembered with events is, this is a free server!  Akka and Rent don't get paid to help this server out and it wasn't thier's to begin with.  EZ was started and maintained by Hunter before he died, RIP Hunter.  The vision and desire to play on this server was bound to fade after his untimely demise.  I know it sucks, this server was a home for me, and many others, for many years but its fading and nothing will change that.  No personal issues with Akka or Rent but I can all but guarantee that EZ wasn't even a passing thought through either of thier heads during the holidays, especially with the way the last event went.  There are those condescending "thanks for all you do" posts any time there is an event, but it truly is a thankless no reward volunteer job that understandably no one wants anymore.

I like many others have moved on, if all you depend on is events to play on this server maybe its time you move on too and let this server respectfully fade.

This just all sounds like BS to me. And some kind of empty flattering, dont you think we all know this. i have been here form 2008 and know most of the history on EZ, knew and spoke with hunter. So making this sound like we dont see the work they put in it, is kinda offensive. HW can be turned on and off at there will and that is the onley thing we are hinting at, and not bitching.

But take it how ever you want. But dont think we dont know they have other things to do, and have there own fam they wanna spend time with.

I agree. Rules are rules, you cant just save up enough karma points to get away with murder. Sparing them will onley make it seem like you can get on the nice list on the server, and then do what you want. I know i exaggerate, but whats done is done, and comming out when you get caught is not the same as reporting a bug after a few "tests"

Yeah. This server is FILLED with moments that makes you wanna quit, but the reward is great, so when you get over that hurdle, then you enjoy the next content alot more then just a quick fix. This is a server that either makes you stay, or kills your joy fast. I started my chars back in 08, and im stuck in T10. Not maxed at all. i to take long breaks like the rest of people here, its just the name of the game... EverQuest!

But keep at it bro! Im sure you will come to like it, and as i told you last evening, most people will help you and like i did, make free instance so you can jump around and farm faster.

Newbloods... jesus... nothing beats the crying when the original UW got nerfed. and things get balanced as new content comes in, or they learn how OP things are. learn to live with it, or quit like so many others. there is NOTHING you can do about it anyways.
