Hunter's stated a few times that the level on the server will never go above 70, and I think this is a GREAT idea. Zones like qvic, tacvi and PoDrags are trivial enough to 4.0+ players as it is.....you'd trivialize ALL current content if you allowed players to keep the abilities and gear they had now AND added 10 to 20 levels and all corresponding AA!! It'd take hundreds of manpower hours to program content and keep game balance if you did.

On live, doesn't one get spells with an increase in level? If so, would raising the level cap be possible?

Ancient Elite is an active guild here on EZ. We are currently gearing up for T5 and most of us are working on T2-T4, UC, ROA, etc.

If you are interested in joining contact Swampdonkie or Weirdo in game. If none of us are on just contact anyone and ask for an officer.

Ideally you should be doing at least T1. Our GC is often a constant stream of rotting loot, so if you are at least T1 flagged expect to power up quickly.

Warning: Our GC is not for the faint of heart! No wimps please:)

I don't really like to roll through stuff. Quillmane was the first real challenge I've faced on the server. I'm currently rolling through LDON but I may have to re-handicap my group if it continues to be easy.

I had problems in LDON 6. Note the entrance frogs are harder than the rest of the zone, so just get past those froglok slaves and you should be ok.

I was able to tank all the bosses there, including the ones on level 6 with my warrior with stonewall.

The hardest part was again, those annoying entrance frogs, they hit fast. Just get past them successfully and it should be easier.

I run a war/cleric/pally/necro.

With full potime gear I could not tank quillmane nor dragonslave. Note I did not try stonewall on dragonslave(maybe I could have then? I don't know, I honestly had forgotten warriors had that ability!)

I ended up chain tapping dragonslave with my necro(he's rooted) and kiting terrantula/quill while chain tapping with my necro.

Asking for help won't hurt either. If I'm on and not busy I can help, and most people usually will also.

I should probably emphasize that the cleric has helped me A LOT, especially in in QVIC, T1, T2.

In potime the cleric was a laggard, it just hung out and looted plate if nobody needed it. It still does that, but now she is actually useful.

There have been plenty of fights where my paladin is at 0% and the cleric pulls off a miracle heal, or, when the paladin dies, the cleric resses the paladin and heals the stonewalled warrior so that my pally is back up and running.

For a long time, I thought my cleric sucked, but now I see she is really useful. Note she does not an oracles charm, which I need to get at some point, and this should make her much better I'm told.

My 4 box crew is,

Necro
Paladin
Warrior
Cleric.

The sticking points for me were,

1. Dragonslave. With FULL time gear I couldn't tank it, so I ended up soloing it with my necro by chain tapping.
2. Terrantula, same as above, ended up kiting it and chain tapping , it worked.
3. LDON level 6. I got owned here, it took a lot of work to get through this with my team. I ended up getting the CG pet and then was able to do this with no issues.
4. Qvic. This was a pain, the trash and bosses were super tough at first. I ended up looting some rotting tokens and then getting help with twinkletoes and getting my necro his epic. With the necro epic pet it became very doable/easy.

Currently doing T1/T2. At first with my crew I could _barely_ kill a T1 boss. After buying some pieces and slowly upgrading I can now do all T1 bosses, and currently doing more T2. I can kill some T2 bosses but I suspect, as usual, once I have more T2 gear I can do all the T2 bosses with ease.

In general, to kill the stuff in zone X, you need a geared group with the stuff that drops in zone X. That seems to be the theme and I expect it to continue. This means it's always hard at first, but gets easier as you get more gear.

The cleric(which doesn't have oracles) has helped, and I hear they are even more helpful later.

Whether you post the screenshot or not, you should let people know who it was, so we can be warned.  I try to help people whenever I can, and I don't want to waste my time furthering the efforts of a known asshat.

You are right. What makes it bad is that I was helping him, would hate it to happen to someone else.

I was helping someone get tokens in qvic the other day, the only piece I needed was the silk robe, and I made that explicit - he could have everything else except that robe.

Within 20 minutes a robe drops and he looted it. I /ooc'd it  and took a screenshot. I'm not sure whether to post the screen or not, that same day I got the qvic robe + a tacvi robe that someone let me have.

Anyways there are ninja looters so be careful, but I should have seen the warning signs!

It's insanely fun.

I started with 1 character and as soon as I got to potime realized I needed more dps, so made 3 more.

I'm working on T1/T2 now with my team of 4 but I've had help. I've been fortunate enough to be able to loot plenty of rots(pages/tokens/etc) and I've had help killing certain bosses.

So yes, very soloable but it's easy to get help when you need it and so it's worth asking.

I think boxing is a must. You can do it with one character but why let all that armor go to waste? It's more fun to gear up a few at the same time.
