Been about a year since I played on the server, im glad my toons did not get deleted. But yea, there is a noticeable difference in the loot time. I wanted to do Qvic and get gems to get my plat amount up, but having to wait 2-3 seconds for the loot window to come up most of the time made me lose interest pretty quick.

Not that I have played on here since the instances were taken down but since the new src code was applied you are going to see a drastic decline in procs no matter what Hunter sets the ppm to.

I would proc at least once every combat round, that was because every swing had a chance to proc, both primary and secondary weapons, including double, triple and flurry.

Now its "a chance" to proc every combat round, so if the ppm is set to 10, 14 or whatever else, you still are not going to be remotely close to how it was.

To sum it up, I would proc every combat round, it just was a matter of how many procs went off. Now, every combat round "has a chance" to proc one time. Huge difference.

2 examples :

- When I was in Dulak I couldn't find a necro helm . So I shout "If somebody sees a necro helm , pst ."
Instead of getting an answer that this would be "ninja looting" , I got a tell "Found helm there and there and if you see BST hands , pst" . Indeed I found BST hands a bit later and sent a tell .
Checking rotting corpses in Dulak seems to be common practice . According to the rule I understand that I and the person who sent me the tell should be banned . Probably almost everybody in Dulak should be banned too .

- In BoT I found my both bracers on rotting copses . Somebody pulled the whole east wing and there were dozens and dozens of rotting corpses . A person came after me and was obviously checking them too . Here again I understand that both the person and me should be banned . It is current to see a shout "Chest so and so rotting there and there ." If somebody goes and loots it he should be banned because he didn't check whether the person shouting was the one who did the kill .

OK a rule is a rule so I will try to respect it . But I will clearly not report if I see anybody checking a pile of rotting corpses . Of couse everytime I see the person who did the kill , I ask if I can loot once the timer is over .
But if I may to make a suggestion , I would restrict the rule to the ninja looting of bosses .
Generalizing it to yard trash rotting around can't be enforced and people will keep checking it . In Dulak and BoT that's obviously common practice .

Let me put this in terms a "Lawyer" can understand...

Example one: You are guilty of receiving stolen property
Example two: How do you know that person actually did not get permission from the person that killed those mobs to loot?

Trash is in the view of the individual, don't project onto others what you think trash is.

And this goes to anybody, if you loot corpses long enough without verifying with the person that killed the mob, someday it will cost you. Not everybody will report you, but all it takes is one person having a bad day and the sight of someone sifting through their pile is all they needed to see to put them over the edge.

I will confirm this over my lunch break, but with the level 100 click rune, when I have that on, it does not remove from my buff window until the 9K worth of damage has been absorbed. It does not fade after a single hit.

If Hunter updates the source code, and if we are limited now to only one weapon proc per combat round, we are going to see a dramatic loss in DPS with classes that rely on their weapon procs as their primary DPS.

A warrior using a base 1500 DD proc will no longer see combat rounds of 4500+ damage, the most they will see is 1500. Those numbers are based off no damage focus effects.

Lol I have been trying for the past 3 days to get Plate legs to drop, BUT before you think thats stupid hard...I think the Mat farming for 4 Anger V augs is by far worse Tongue

Big difference if you are looking for a specific drop in Qvic, nothing else that drops in there is of real use. However, farming the anger aug components in PoD also allows you to acquire other aug components such as the 1000hp aug, and ore.

You can lock a corpse down while you get the other character to loot the item. However, the process of unlocking the corpse to let your other box loot will never be fast enough to beat out someone that is standing near spamming, the /loot command. Fact is, you need to switch between windows, and that split second you unlock the corpse, the ninja looter is on it. There is NO WAY you can lock someone out when you are multi-boxing.

People just suck, that's about all you can say.

Society has been breeding and encouraging the belief that accommodations must be made for people that are not happy, that no matter what the problem is, they are encouraged to voice their displeasure and that they will be made happy no matter how it negatively affects others.

I cringe at the thought of what my nieces and goddaughters will be growing up into.

Welcome to to EZ server, here's your insane warrior dps augs dropping off trash and minis in T1... If you are another  [melee] class, please come up with a couple million plat and grind into a huge time sink... IF you would like to [reroll] as god intended into EZ server's millionth warrior, hail me for further [info].

Damn I must be doing it all wrong, I never saw an anger IV or V aug drop off trash or a mini in T1 or T2. I guess your piss-fest would not mean as much if you were accurate in your statements.

The worst weapon graphic I never had the displeasure of having was the elf boot sword they used in the GoD expansion. The Fleshbiter was a great aggro weapon, but that graphic made me cringe.

The designers did a nice job on the weapons that came out of the Demiplane of Blood raid zone on live; they drop in Qvic on this server.

Swiftcleave, Sister's Opulent Backstabber, "Erilynne, the Master's Mistress", and "Twinfang, the Immortal's Bane" are all high quality weapons. Even though Ancient Cudgel of Slaughter, and  Runic Bloodstained Maul are nothing to write home about.

But the all time best sword graphic EZ uses is the sword off Mayong Mistmoore; which is currently the ranger 3.0 graphic.

If it changes to only 1 proc per combat round its going to dramatically change the DPS output of warriors using the Angry Nerds line of augs.

Even though warriors dual wield the swing from your offhand weapon is still considered in the same round as your primary weapon's swing. So no more combat rounds of 4,5,6+ weapon procs.

Especially if the way the warrior Flurry disc works, instead of having multiple procs per swing, it would be reduced to one proc per click.

Those factors could reduce a warriors [DPS] dramatically.
