This event is really fun. I spawned cazic about 3 times but always got owned boxing with 3.0s. I tried fighting him in a little house in plane of fear so he didn't launch my team so far away but never managed to finish him off.

I bought my first 100k guild instance yesterday and now I can't get back into it. I still have a character or two logged into there, but no one else can get in, including my main (warrior). Maybe make halloween instances cheaper? I only have enough money for one more instance.

Some classes like Paladin are necessary but really boring. You're wasting your time doing anything but autoattack on a paladin, so they're really great to box.

Once you get to 70, it would be a good idea to get a copy of macroquest 2 (you can find a link on this forum) and box a couple of them to play with your 3 mains.

Until you get to the extended zones, 3 man will be really fun. Don't just do the custom zones (mistmoore, dulak), take some time to adventure in whatever zones you remember from back in the day. If you don't already know, you can teleport directly to almost every zone from the newbie zones.

72 hours is more fair. But my big question now is how do I get back into a group instance if I log out without my full group already in the instance? I've never gotten this to work before.

I'm only up to 3.0 but so far everything can be done with a solid group or less. Most everybody boxes their own teams so it's hard to find a group at 70. This server more caters to people who want to run box armies.

I know for a fact that Hunter and crew listen to suggestions on this forum, so "get over it or get gone" is not very good advice. Get over the crying or don't visit mmo forums

Is this permanent? I can't afford 50k per group instance. Would it be possible for each character to get one 10k instance per week or something? I'm currently in Plane of Dragons but still need to finish about half of my group's qvic gear (all plate). I've got about 150k to my name.

Not to mention that half the time if I wipe I can't figure out how to get back into my instance and I have to make a new one which is bearable at 10k, but not 50k.

Well that staff was certainly a waste of 50k then.

QVIC drops a few items that give you a 60% boost rather than the 50% from the staff. I still equip the staff but just for the 1k mana really. The QVIC cloth quest gloves give 60% to fire spells as well as the "Goresteel Spaulders". Might be the Tris embroidered felt cloak or "Persuasive Glimmering Serpant" as well.

I'm using ancient core fire, 0 cast time vs 8.0 second base.

Ancient call of something, the level 70 one that does 30% spell damage and v3 haste.

Does the staff have a recast time on it? I used to use it to pull for quad kiting since you could cast it on the run, and also to judge distance so I knew when I was back in casting range without stopping running. Is it still good for these things?

I guess I'll drop a wiz except for in ldon where a 2 wiz + brd song can instakill most mobs.

So I should keep 2 paladins in my group? I just wanted to be sure you saw that I had 2, not considering dropping all paladins.

Where can I pick up augs past level 1 versions? I think I found one in qvic. Even if I had money, how would I zone into higher level places to pay for the rights to loot an aug? Or are you talking about the lightstone combine recipes?
