second rule, well there isn't really a second rule I just wanted to say, plenty of people finished the early tiers without mega buffs... a lot of us did it before things like UW, UC, and when the RoA only went to 100 (like back in 2009-2010) personally I got thru T5 with a group of only 4 (and one was a shitty mage  ) yes things actually have gotten harder in some cases, like the dispells... in fact I'm pretty sure those were added to specifically address the issue of low tier players facerolling everything with T10 buffs. so, that's probably something you'll have to deal with. chin up! it's entirely possible, in fact I'd say it should be pretty EZ with a group of 18.

could be the same OLD problem EQ always had with AMD.
there's some settings in the bios you need to tweak I think... idk.. google it.

I just remembered, it might be related to using the ctrl-click to dump the entire contents of one bag into another. ? might want to take a look. I didn't lose anything important but would really suck to lose a whole bag full of essences, or GSoA's etc..

hey so, today I decided to switch out all the 8-slot backpacks in my bank with the 10-slot box. while doing so I got a couple messages of something like "desync error" ? and all the stuff in the boxes were gone. not sure if this was related to the new code changes?  I have seen this once or twice before but usually nothing is lost, or if something is lost then you just camp out and back again and it's restored. well I tried that, twice, all the stuff is still gone. nothing major, mostly just some halloween pets, and some old anger augs I don't really need but..

no.... if you use old models and turn down textures it uses very little vram, probably a 2GB card is enough to run 30+ boxes.

when the game came out video cards had 32-64MB of vram (1/32 to 1/16 of a GB)...

one of the pc's I use for EZ is a Core2quad circa 2009 with 4mb ram and a Geforce 650ti 2GB (circa 2013) it doesn't break a sweat with 12 boxes, though depending on what zone I'm in (some use more Dram) it gets to 80%+ ram used. 6-8gb dram should be more than enough for 20+ boxes. 16gb is probably overkill (but is the min I'd build a new pc with..)

aggro zone clicky would be a very nice QoL addition, but limit it to 2-3 tiers below where it drops. IE T10 clicky only works up to T7 or so.

either that or lower the # of mats needed for UW.

I'm sure nobody enjoys running around QVIC and tagging mobs 100+ times per toon to get the UW.

also, upgrade to ROF2 if you aren't using it.

(and don't worry about "kick" or other basic melee attacks, they will literally do 0.2% of the damage of your main attacks before too long)

ship builders are definitely there, but for some reason no mobs are showing on my map in that zone..

they are in the north-east area, near the big ship in drydock (being built...)
but they are popular items that fly off the shelves fast.. are you sure someone else wasn't just there first killing them? you might try an instance in that case...

I timed the last client loading (after all others are loaded and running) = 34 seconds... guh.

Yea it's an older PC (Core2Quad). I have a 1 second delay already. Adding a 5 second delay means LESS clients crash... but some still crash.

I disabled the OC utility, that didn't help...

So I got this working - IF I launch each client separately.  If I launch them all at once with a batch file/etc, some of them randomly crash (about 2/3 of them crash, some don't). Yes I tried running mq2 as admin - it's the same thing either way...

Any ideas?

update: ok it doesn't crash on my other PC so it must be a driver issue. last time I got crashes on startup it was a conflict between MQ2 and the video card overlocking utility (Evga Precision OC) so I'll look into that, might need to update it.
